Well, hey everyone, this is Heidi St.
0:02
John. Welcome to the podcast. Today
0:04
is mailbox Monday and I'm going to spend
0:06
a little bit of time addressing some of
0:09
the issues in the news and answering listener
0:11
questions. And we're going to just pause and
0:13
reflect a little bit on the idiocy of
0:15
the Biden administration considering locking down
0:18
the country again in the name of a
0:20
climate crisis. This is Heidi St. John. Stick
0:22
around. We're going to be encouraged. Well
0:33
welcome to the show you guys. Hope you're doing
0:35
great wherever you are. And I wanted to say
0:37
thank you because this is my travel season. I
0:39
am out on the road all
0:41
the time and we've got a lot going on when we're not
0:43
on the road. And getting
0:45
the show out to you guys is
0:47
a top priority for me even when
0:49
I'm traveling. And so I appreciate you
0:52
guys listening and sharing this show wherever
0:54
podcasts are heard. Also thank
0:56
you guys so much for leaving reviews for the
0:58
show, for leaving reviews for my books. And we
1:00
really do want to hear from you. And I'm
1:02
going to be reading listener questions
1:04
today. You guys can reach
1:06
out to me directly, heidistjohn.com/
1:09
mailbox Monday. We want to hear from you. We'd
1:11
love to hear your thoughts and your feedback. That
1:13
is the place to do it. And if
1:15
you're interested in following our work here at
1:18
Firmly Planted Family, which is the nonprofit arm
1:20
of the work that we are doing
1:22
to rescue kids from the public schools
1:25
and infuse the families of our generation
1:27
with the hope that's found in the
1:29
gospel. You guys can find that information
1:31
about that by going to www.firmlyplantedfamily.org. That's
1:33
www.firmlyplantedfamily.org. I
1:36
want to jump into your questions today. The
1:38
first one came from a listener who said
1:40
that they were longtime members of
1:43
a denomination that is becoming
1:45
more and more apostate and are planning to
1:47
leave. Could you please discuss the best way to
1:49
go about leaving a church that you love, fill
1:51
with people that you love and a pastor
1:53
that you love, but you cannot
1:56
stay any longer. Well,
1:59
The fact that you're saying that
2:01
this denomination is becoming. More and
2:03
more apostate. Tells me that you've been
2:05
watching for quite some time as
2:07
many of these denominations him at
2:09
all the say it out loud,
2:12
the Methodist a nomination, the Lutheran
2:14
denomination, the Episcopal denomination, many of
2:16
the yeah the Presbyterians are struggling
2:18
with issues related sooth scriptural authority
2:20
and Dave in factor needed at
2:22
their parishioners into woke ideologies. we
2:24
watch you know there's a at
2:26
church I think I told you
2:28
guys just write down the street
2:30
from me that has a giant
2:33
transgender. Flag up in the French and
2:35
the front grass as really a shame
2:37
because his out on a mainstream people
2:39
drive by it all the time and
2:41
it says everyone is welcome here. Well.
2:43
That should be the message of every church. Every
2:46
one is welcome here, specially
2:48
the Gospel of Believe in.
2:51
Christ. Honoring Truth
2:53
Tallinn. Churches And
2:56
it's. It's. It's
2:58
a sad day and I just
3:00
I interviewed my friend Pastor Jack
3:02
the other day and I think
3:04
at that interview set to air
3:06
here pretty soon. but Jack and
3:08
I were talking about what is
3:10
happening in our churches and it
3:12
requires an enormous amount of discernment
3:15
on the part of the believer
3:17
right now to be able to
3:19
see oh hey, this is wrong
3:21
and. We. And we either
3:23
need to address it as a church. And
3:26
correct the wrong teaching. Or.
3:28
We need not to go to that church
3:30
anymore And it sounds to me like you
3:32
are in a church that is one of
3:34
the denominations that I just mentioned. I'd almost
3:36
guarantee it and you know that this is
3:38
where the church is headed and see you
3:40
can no longer stay. And I think that's
3:42
the message that you said when you talk
3:44
to the people that he that go to
3:46
that church you're doing exactly the right thing.
3:49
By asking how can you address
3:51
these issues in love so that
3:53
the people who are at the
3:56
who are still there? hopefully when
3:58
you leave. At. you burning
4:00
your bridges so that their
4:02
hearts are still open to hearing the gentle
4:05
nudge of the Holy Spirit that says
4:08
that his people should worship him in
4:10
spirit and in truth. And
4:12
we need to be committed as
4:14
Christians to sharing the truth. It
4:17
matters. And what we've seen now
4:19
happen for decades and generations even
4:22
is that we are willing to
4:24
sacrifice truth on the altar of
4:27
a misguided mercy. When we
4:29
don't speak the truth in love
4:31
then the truth becomes a weapon
4:33
and when we don't speak with
4:35
love then the truth can't
4:37
be heard. And so you have to
4:39
be you have to
4:41
be walking in the spirit,
4:44
asking the Lord to help you as you as you
4:46
talk to these to these men
4:49
and women and just say hey we
4:51
love you guys but what you're teaching
4:53
is not in accordance with sound doctrine.
4:55
And Paul warned Timothy about this. He
4:58
said Timothy a time is coming when
5:00
people will no longer listen to sound
5:02
teaching but they will go they
5:04
will gravitate toward whatever their itching ears want
5:06
to hear. Well what do we want to
5:08
hear in the culture right now? We want
5:10
to hear that the sin of homosexuality does
5:12
not grieve God. We want to hear that
5:15
that we should be worshiping the environment. We want
5:17
to hear that God doesn't love
5:19
Israel. I keep hearing you know
5:21
more and more here at the
5:24
show people who
5:26
are writing in and asking
5:28
questions about replacement theology and
5:31
I'm seeing it sort of take root even in even
5:33
in the Christian circles more and
5:35
more and like I said before I'm not
5:37
gonna lose a friend over it but we
5:39
need to do a better job of reading
5:41
our Bible. Stop blaming Scofield you know for
5:44
for the belief that there's gonna be a
5:46
rapture and just read your Bible. I'm pretty
5:48
sure we can make a pretty solid case
5:50
for it but again that's not an issue
5:52
of eternal security that's
5:54
not a gospel issue so many of
5:57
the issues that these woke churches are
5:59
leaning into to our gospel issues and
6:01
we have to be able to come
6:03
at them from a position of truth.
6:05
And so I would just encourage you, if you're
6:08
going to go to your pastor, do it in love. As
6:10
a pastor's wife for a long, long time,
6:12
I can tell you some of the most
6:14
hurtful things that ever happened to us were
6:17
the result of people who left
6:21
our churches badly. So
6:24
what you don't want to do is throw a fit. What you don't
6:26
want to do is put a big, huge Facebook
6:28
social media post about how you hate the church or
6:30
how the church has gone woke. You don't need to do any of
6:32
those things. You can go to the
6:34
pastor and say, we love you guys. We've
6:36
tried everything we know so that we
6:39
could stay here and not have to
6:41
go to another church, but we just
6:43
cannot sit under teaching that is not
6:45
sound doctrinally. And that is
6:47
the reason. And I think you let them know, hey,
6:50
we love you guys and we want to be a
6:52
part of your life, but we are not going to
6:54
be a part of this church anymore. And
6:56
they're painful decisions to make. And
6:58
these are extraordinary times in which we live.
7:01
But you must be sitting under a pastor
7:04
who is going to give you good
7:06
teaching. My friend Pastor Jack wrote
7:08
a book and I, like I said, I just had
7:10
him on the show and it's called
7:12
Living in the Days of Deception, How to Discern
7:14
Truth from the Culturist Lies. And this is absolutely
7:17
necessary in the church. And he talks about that
7:19
in his book. I hope you guys will pick
7:21
it up. I'll link back to it in the
7:23
show notes today. But I don't think this
7:25
is going to get easier. I think
7:27
that the church is being purified
7:29
right now. I think we're starting to
7:31
see, and frankly, I welcome it because
7:33
now at least we know. We
7:36
know what side of a theological
7:38
discussion are our brothers and sisters
7:40
in Christ on and can
7:43
we trust
7:46
what they say from the pulpit? And more often
7:48
than not, I think the answer is no. And
7:52
so we need to know God's word. The
7:54
time for lazy disciples, lazy followers
7:56
of Jesus is absolutely over. You
7:58
guys need to be. in your
8:00
Bibles, open up your Bible every
8:03
day of your life. The
8:05
Bible says that it's like living water for
8:07
your soul. You wouldn't go for days without
8:10
water, and yet we go for days as
8:12
Christians without ever opening
8:14
our Bibles. And like I said to
8:17
you guys in Dallas a
8:19
few days ago, it's not
8:21
your pastor's job to suit you up for war.
8:23
It's your job. You should be in the
8:26
word. You can't pass on what you don't
8:28
possess. And so we need to be in
8:30
the word of the word, filled
8:32
with the Spirit, filled with the word.
8:34
As I've heard said so many times
8:36
recently, we want to be ingesting the
8:38
word of God every day so that
8:40
when we need to make a decision,
8:42
the word of God flows from us
8:45
because we know it and we
8:47
can defend it. And so you're on my heart
8:49
and I'm going to be praying for you as you make
8:51
this decision, but God will honor it. And
8:53
so leave well. You
8:56
leave well by loving well, and
8:58
then ask the Lord where to show you where to go next.
9:01
And I'm sure that he will have a wonderful
9:03

10:07
Next question comes from Abigail. She said,
10:09
Heidi, I'm wondering if you have resources
10:11
on how to explain non-binary to kids,
10:14
specifically why it goes against scripture and
10:16
why we aren't going to call cousins
10:18
they, them, and how to remain loving
10:21
and respectful despite pronouns. Well, I don't
10:23
think you need a book other
10:25
than the Bible to
10:28
explain non-binary to kids. So binary
10:30
meaning two, right? You have two options
10:32
and we've heard from the left in this
10:34
country and the woke sexual ideologues that they're
10:36
tired of this binary of male and female,
10:39
except for God's not tired of it because
10:41
this is how God made us. We are
10:43
made male and female. This is true in
10:46
the animal kingdom as well. And
10:48
we are called to be ambassadors
10:51
for the truth. And so you can
10:53
read scripture to your children for
10:56
this reason, a man should
10:58
leave his father and his mother and be united
11:00
to his wife and the two should become one
11:02
flesh. We are created in the image of God,
11:05
male and female. And
11:07
we are also called to be ambassadors
11:09
of the Lord, right? The apostle Paul
11:11
said that it's almost as if God
11:13
were making his appeal through you. Well,
11:15
if you can't tell the truth, if
11:17
you are hijacked by the culture of
11:20
political correctness and the pronoun idiocy and
11:22
all those things, well, your kids aren't
11:24
going to be able to stand up
11:26
either. So it has to start with you.
11:28
I for one, refuse, I
11:30
will not play. I will not play the
11:32
game. I'm not going to use incorrect pronouns.
11:34
I'm not going to ask. I'm not going
11:36
to fall under somebody's threat to, to
11:39
use an orthodoxy that is absolutely absurd.
11:41
And I'm not going to change the
11:44
syntax of the English language to, to
11:48
assuage the mental
11:50
illness of another human being. I
11:53
just will not do it. And you guys
11:55
have heard me say before on the show, you know,
11:57
when, when you see public figures get up there and
11:59
start saying that they don't
12:01
believe in male and female anymore, I just think
12:03
they're lying. We can see with
12:06
our eyes, right? Our eyes bear witness to the
12:08
fact that there is such a thing as male
12:10
and female. So I think the way that we
12:12
teach our children is that we as Christians, we
12:15
do not live by lies. We
12:17
live by the truth of the word of God. God's
12:19
word says in Genesis that he made us male and
12:21
female in his image. Therefore this
12:23
is a spiritual attack. It's an attack against
12:25
creator God. It's an attack against what God
12:27
said is good and what
12:30
he has created for human flourishing.
12:33
I was talking to a woman the other day
12:35
who was saying that she has some friends that
12:37
are questioning whether or
12:39
not male and female is a real thing
12:41
anymore. And I mean here in the Pacific
12:43
Northwest, I was just in Costco the other
12:45
day and some grown man went to the
12:47
store, beard, high heels. I
12:50
mean what's happened is we've just opened
12:52
Pandora's box and now we watch
12:54
these people put their mental illness
12:56
on full display and the culture
12:58
just goes, huh, that's good. Good
13:00
for you. You saw your authentic true self. Here's
13:02
a man who's literally being tortured in his
13:05
mind, but no one's going to help him. And
13:07
that's the same thing that's true with Bruce Jenner.
13:09
No one's helping him. No one's loving him. So
13:11
they're letting him live in this delusion that he's
13:13
a woman trapped in
13:15
the body of a man and that's
13:17
not love. And Christians are called to
13:20
love each other, to love one another.
13:22
So I would just encourage you, just
13:24
like I did to the previous question,
13:26
that the Bible says that
13:28
they'll know that we are Christians by
13:31
our love. And we want to be
13:33
loving, but we also will not sacrifice truth on
13:36
the altar of mercy. And so
13:38
we've got to tell the truth. And actually,
13:40
you know, I would even say it's not
13:42
merciful even when we engage in
13:44
lies like this and we just determine, oh, it
13:46
doesn't matter and you can have your truth and
13:48
I can have my truth, but we know that
13:51
that's actually not true. And so
13:53
I believe that most of the people
13:55
in the woke ideologies that are pushing
13:57
this gender insanity are targeting children. Children
14:00
are literally being brainwashed and they don't know
14:03
that there's two sexes. This
14:08
word even, gender, is just a made up thing.
14:10
It makes me so angry, you guys. I just
14:13
want to encourage you, love
14:15
your kids by telling them the truth. Let
14:17
them see that you're walking in the truth. Let them see
14:19
that you don't live by lies, that you live by truth.
14:22
Our truth should be marked with compassion. The truth
14:24
should be marked with love. God
14:26
is a God of love. He is
14:28
also a God of justice and a God of mercy. He
14:32
created us in his image and that needs to be
14:34
the message. I just encourage
14:36
you guys, don't play the pronoun game. Just
14:39
don't do it because you're engaging in a lie
14:41
and you're fostering what is hurting
14:43
our kids and hurting the culture.
14:46
I for one am over it. I don't
14:48
know if you guys are following the headlines,
14:50
but I've
14:53
been kind of wondering for a while,
14:55
what's going to be the new emergency
14:57
that the Democrats throw at us to
15:00
mess up the 2024 elections? What
15:03
could possibly happen? Matt Walsh wrote
15:06
an article that came out a couple of days ago
15:08
in The Daily Wire.
15:10
The title of Matt Walsh's article is
15:12
this. The government is gearing up to
15:14
declare a climate emergency which will wipe
15:17
out what's left of
15:19
our freedoms. He goes on to
15:21
make a case that for several years now,
15:23
it's been clear that the Biden administration has
15:25
been thinking about officially declaring a climate emergency.
15:27
We hear this all the time, beginning
15:30
on the day that he took
15:32
office, several politicians have floated this
15:34
possibility. If you don't believe me,
15:37
just keep checking the news. I mean, in 2021, so January
15:39
29th, 2021, the news reported that President Biden shouldn't declare
15:46
climate change a national emergency. The National
15:48
Emergency Act is not the right tool
15:50
to save the planet, but he's been
15:52
advocating for this since he took charge
15:54
of the government, by the way, I
15:56
still believe one
15:59
of probably He might be the worst president
16:01
we've ever had in the history of the United States.
16:03
I mean, who knows how
16:05
much worse it's going to get. But
16:07
the Democrats' leader in the Senate, Chuck
16:09
Schumer, recently called on Biden to make
16:11
the declaration of a climate emergency within
16:14
a week of his inauguration. Ever since
16:16
then, there have been articles and deep
16:18
dives on various outlets, including Politico and
16:20
the New York Times, suggesting that it
16:22
would be a really good idea to
16:24
essentially go to war, as Matt Walsh
16:27
put it, with the weather. And
16:31
as his term is winding
16:33
down, Joe Biden has resisted
16:35
the hardcore demands to issue
16:38
a state of emergency. And instead, Biden
16:40
says that he's, quote, practically declared a
16:42
climate emergency, which really just means, oh,
16:44
yeah, I like the idea. And
16:47
if the time is right, boy, I'll
16:49
do it. But this is
16:51
the thing, you guys. There is
16:53
not a climate emergency. And everybody who's
16:55
pushing this hysteria understands this full well,
16:57
but they will never stop pretending that
17:00
this is an urgent crisis, because the moment they
17:02
do, they will lose some measure of control over
17:04
our lives. This is why you keep hearing people
17:07
talking about how they want to take away your
17:09
gas stoves and everybody should
17:11
be driving an electric vehicle and
17:13
all the stupidity behind the
17:17
climate crisis emergency. If there was
17:19
a climate crisis, a
17:21
pending emergency, then the
17:23
Democrats know that if they can declare
17:25
the crisis, they're going to have to
17:27
do everything they can to address it
17:29
as aggressively as possible. So if a
17:32
ship is threatened with sinking, you do
17:34
everything possible right now to prevent it
17:36
from taking on more water. And
17:38
that's exactly what I think the Democrats are
17:40
going to try to do. The Biden administration,
17:43
of course, flirting with this idea. And
17:45
it's telling us that the White House sees an
17:47
emergency climate declaration as a potential
17:51
nuclear option to deploy when they get really
17:53
desperate. And guess what, you guys? They're
17:55
desperate. They're getting really desperate. If
17:58
you're watching the judges continuing to... treat
18:00
Donald Trump with contempt in
18:03
further eroding the trust
18:05
of the American people and our system of justice,
18:07
which was supposed to be blind, but obviously it
18:10
isn't. And the truth of the
18:12
matter is we have got a major
18:16
problem on our hands right now,
18:18
at least the way that
18:20
the Democrats see it, in that there's
18:22
a very real possibility that Donald Trump
18:25
could win the election. And they just
18:27
can't have that. And so
18:29
what are they doing? They're talking about issuing
18:31
a national emergency. And of course, if they
18:33
did that, then we're talking about lockdowns. We're
18:36
talking about how you drive your cars. We're probably
18:38
talking about the price of gasoline. It
18:40
could send the nation into an absolute
18:42
crisis. And so we need
18:45
to be praying about this. We need to
18:47
be watching at it. But emergency powers, and
18:49
I want us to just sort of remember
18:51
this. They
18:54
did this in COVID for sure. And
18:57
what they've done is they've cheapened the emergency
18:59
powers that have been given to
19:01
the executive branch of our government. And
19:04
the emergency powers are really there
19:07
for actual emergency, terrorist attacks, natural
19:09
disasters, earthquakes. In
19:11
my neck of the woods, it would be
19:13
a volcano or something
19:16
like that. They're not
19:18
intended to address problems
19:20
that are ongoing, such
19:22
as the so-called climate emergency, which by the
19:24
way is a hoax. Climate change is a
19:26
hoax. I was just listening to a guy
19:29
who I disagree with on several things, but
19:31
boy, he's a genius when it comes to
19:34
climate change. He comes at it from the
19:36
position of an evolutionist. But
19:38
I listened on Jordan Peterson's podcast the
19:41
other day to this gentleman who used
19:43
to be one of the founding members
19:45
of Greenpeace. So obviously very committed environmentalist
19:48
talking about how this
19:50
junk science, the pseudoscience of
19:52
climate change is hurting
19:54
even the efforts of Greenpeace and the
19:56
efforts to keep the oceans clean. It's
19:58
kind of amazing. And so
20:00
these emergency powers, if the Biden
20:03
administration puts them into
20:05
practice, I hope that every person
20:07
that's listening to this show, and I hope you
20:09
guys pass this on to your friends and your
20:11
relatives, don't play the
20:13
game. Don't play the game.
20:15
If they ever ask, if they ever mandate
20:17
an experimental vaccine, I think there's going to
20:19
be an uproar in this country, like the
20:22
likes of which we have never seen. I
20:24
would hate to see what happens if they
20:26
try to bring back that stupid mask that
20:28
they mandated in the dumb stickers that they
20:30
put on the floor telling everybody to stand
20:32
six feet apart. We have lived through one
20:34
of the most obscene, absurd, ridiculous, stupid periods
20:37
of time in the history of the United
20:39
States. And we're continuing to live through it
20:41
because just like they are pushing climate change,
20:43
they're also pushing gender ideology that would tell
20:45
you that a man can go in and
20:47
have his private parts taken off and suddenly
20:49
become a woman. But
20:52
you don't have a woman. You just
20:54
have a castrated, impotent man. That's
20:56
all you have. And when
20:58
we say otherwise, we're being
21:01
both intellectually dishonest and incredibly
21:03
damaging to the culture. And
21:05
we have to hold our government to
21:08
account to say, no, you don't use
21:10
the emergency powers unless you need them.
21:13
And if lawmakers have had ample
21:15
time to consider a problem and
21:17
they haven't chosen to authorize a
21:19
certain solution for it, a.k.a. the
21:21
so-called climate, quote unquote, emergency, then
21:25
declaring a national emergency to
21:27
bypass the Congress is a blatant
21:29
misuse of power. This is
21:31
why I get so frustrated with all the executive
21:34
orders that come out, even the ones that I
21:36
appreciate. It's like, man, you guys, the Congress is
21:38
actually there for a reason. But
21:40
reason, speaking of reason,
21:43
is lost in our country right now. And
21:45
when we ignore the Congress, when
21:47
we ignore how things are supposed to
21:49
run, we do so at our peril.
21:52
We absolutely do so at our
21:54
peril. I hope that you will
21:56
do your homework on
21:58
the climate crisis. in the United
22:00
States, the so-called climate crisis, because I'm telling you what,
22:03
I do think it's going to heat up. And
22:05
the weakening
22:08
of Western culture and Western
22:10
civilization by trying to eliminate
22:12
oil, to eliminate natural
22:15
gases, energy sources, the
22:17
scientific basis for
22:19
so-called net zero is based more on
22:22
general agreement than it is on hard
22:24
data. It's based on propaganda. It's not
22:26
based on data. And anyone who is
22:28
seriously studying this issue would be honest
22:31
enough to tell you that. And
22:34
I'm increasingly
22:36
stunned by the posturing that's
22:43
happening on the left right now. And you can
22:45
almost see the wheels are turning. Well, maybe, maybe,
22:48
maybe if we declare a climate crisis, a climate
22:50
so-called emergency, then they'll get back
22:53
some modicum of the
22:55
control that they so desperately want to
22:57
have over the everyday lives of
23:01
ordinary Americans like you and I.
23:05
This is interesting too. And I just, I read this
23:07
recently, and I want to find out what the date
23:09
is on it. About seven months
23:11
ago, Bill Gates actually said
23:13
that there wasn't a climate emergency. And
23:15
a lot of people were saying, Oh,
23:17
man, I mean, he stunned the audience
23:20
by saying that the climate crisis
23:22
narrative is a hoax. And
23:25
this all comes from the New York
23:28
Times Climate Forward Summit, where Bill Gates
23:30
was a featured speaker. And while he
23:32
was being interviewed, he dropped this bombshell
23:34
saying he doesn't think there's an urgent
23:37
climate crisis and went on to say,
23:39
quote, no temperate country is going to
23:41
become inhabitable. And so
23:43
he basically just said the quiet
23:46
part out loud. But for some
23:48
reason, we still let this, this
23:50
climate crisis clowns into
23:53
positions of authority in our government. And
23:55
they're trying to do everything from pushing
23:57
electric vehicles to making sure that that
24:00
you can't have a propane stove in
24:02
your house. What a ridiculous season that
24:05
we are living through right now. But I'm gonna encourage you,
24:07
do your homework because this
24:09
idea of a climate crisis is absolutely
24:11
a hoax. I don't listen to these
24:14
people. I stopped a long time ago
24:16
and the whole idea of electric vehicles,
24:19
by the way, are
24:21
absolutely ridiculous. Absolutely
24:23
ridiculous that the Biden
24:26
administration would tell us that electric
24:28
vehicles are the so-called cure to
24:31
the so-called climate emergency.
24:33
And I read an awesome article and I'll
24:35
link back to it in the show notes
24:37
today, talking about the range, why
24:40
the electric vehicles are not the cure for
24:42
any kind of manufactured crisis.
24:45
And he says, specifically point out the problem, not
24:47
the range. If you wanna argue with these people,
24:49
don't point out the range. Like we
24:51
actually got a rental car by
24:53
accident. We got an electric vehicle rental car
24:56
by accident when we were on Arizona or
24:58
something. I hated that thing. I
25:01
mean, we had to stop and find on the
25:03
map places that we could charge the car. And
25:05
if it wasn't one of the new charging stations,
25:07
then you're stuck in that place for an hour
25:09
and a half while your car tries to
25:11
charge. And where are they getting electricity? Where's
25:15
that coming from? It's so ridiculous. It's
25:17
absolutely ridiculous. The thing that gives
25:19
the lie to the
25:22
idea that we must all drive an
25:24
electric vehicle because of a supposed looming
25:26
crisis is the fact that electric vehicles
25:28
are excessive. None of them are
25:30
designed to minimize the use of electrical energy or
25:33
resources. And I want you guys to think on
25:35
that for just a second. If there's a crisis
25:37
pending, an emergency, then
25:40
we should be doing everything we can
25:42
to prevent what is supposed to
25:45
be coming. And they're saying, well, this is
25:47
what electric vehicles will do. And this is
25:49
why we're pushing them out on the market.
25:51
But every single one of them is overweight
25:53
and overpowered. They all brag about how they
25:55
accelerate. And that quickness is, what does that
25:57
do? It's consumptive, right? So it's
25:59
more. more energy that's needed. So
26:01
whether you're burning gas or electricity, it
26:03
burns faster when you use it to
26:06
get several pounds of a vehicle moving
26:08
quickly. And it's a
26:10
lie that electrical vehicles are
26:12
going to help. The
26:15
whole thing is so disingenuous. And I hear
26:17
about this all the time. There
26:19
are efficient hybrid cars, you know, I would say
26:23
Prius, but what does a Prius do? It uses
26:25
less energy. And this whole thing
26:27
is, you know, rather than conserve and
26:29
minimize, we're just using the same amount of
26:31
energy, but just in a different way. And
26:34
so I hope that we can start talking about
26:36
this. I hope we start talking about it in
26:38
the Christian community, and maybe turn off the news
26:40
and start using common sense. Because the moment that
26:43
the Biden administration declares that
26:45
we're going to go into lockdown
26:47
to save the planet, an emergency
26:49
declaration to save the planet, I
26:51
think you're going to have full
26:53
blown, blown rebellion in the
26:55
United States. And in fact, I hope that we
26:58
do because it's just it's so ridiculous. In other
27:00
news, another trans boy
27:02
has beaten yet another girl in
27:06
Indiana. And
27:08
PJ media talked about it this way,
27:10
they said the ability of transgender quote
27:13
unquote, women, in other words, men, to
27:16
continually demonstrate how much they hate actual
27:18
women and girls never ceases to amaze
27:20
me, especially when there are kids involved.
27:23
Real news Central Indiana described how
27:25
the kid grabbed the unnamed victim's
27:27
ponytail through her to the ground
27:29
and commenced with a beating. The
27:32
accomplished recording the video air dropped it to everyone
27:35
else in the school, but the poor girl who
27:37
was attacked is being harassed and
27:39
bullied. Now she went back to school the
27:41
next day, the paper reported, but it's been
27:43
hard on her just to make the situation
27:45
worse. The attacker was allegedly the same boy
27:47
who forced Lebanon middle school to acknowledge that
27:49
allowing boys into girls locker rooms is a
27:52
bad idea. Crazy.
27:54
Nice going Lebanon middle school you guys
27:56
are you guys are you're killing
27:58
it. So Grayson Backage,
28:01
I think that's how you say his name, Backage,
28:04
not sure. But
28:07
Grayson wrote this article, and he
28:10
also wrote an article a couple weeks ago
28:12
about another loony, his name's
28:14
Kyle Calvert, a self-described trans non-binary man.
28:16
How can you be... You
28:20
can't make this stuff up. Trans, I'm trans
28:22
non-binary, you know, I fly and I swim.
28:27
This guy successfully tried to
28:29
nail bomb the Alabama state
28:32
capitol and supposedly had issues with
28:34
violent impulses. And the same day, Matt
28:36
Margolis touched briefly upon what's been happening
28:38
at the Planet Fitness facilities. I mean,
28:41
oh my goodness, you guys, Planet Fitness
28:43
is on its head right now because
28:46
they're allowing biological males into
28:49
the locker rooms with women. It's insane.
28:51
It's completely insane. There's
28:55
so much perverted stuff happening in the culture
28:57
right now. I mean, we are living in
28:59
unprecedented times. And it goes back to what
29:01
we were saying at the beginning of the
29:03
show today, that if we don't stand for
29:05
truth, and
29:07
I believe this with all my heart, truth
29:09
is a hill worth dying on. Truth
29:12
is a hill worth dying on. You're
29:14
watching students protesting
29:17
in favor of Hamas. I'm pretty
29:19
sure that back in October, we all
29:21
watched as paragliders for the terrorist organization
29:23
that is Hamas dropped
29:26
men, armed men, into
29:29
the middle of peaceful Israelis
29:32
and began systematically killing
29:36
and raping and
29:38
torturing innocent people. And
29:41
what do we have happening at our universities here
29:43
in the United States? We've got students that are
29:46
pro-Palestine and they are chanting in support
29:48
of this wickedness and this evil. That
29:50
is the day in which we live.
29:53
I saw a video of a young woman who was interviewed
29:56
at Columbia University and they asked her, why
29:58
are you praying? protesting here
30:01
against Israel. And
30:03
she looked at her friend and was like, why are
30:05
we here? They didn't even know. The level of
30:07
groupthink and stupidity that's fallen over this country
30:09
is astonishing right now. And the only way
30:11
that you address it is by standing up
30:13
for truth wherever you are. So when you
30:15
have an opportunity, tell the truth. And the first
30:18
place that you have an opportunity to speak truth
30:20
is to your children. We
30:22
need to speak truth in our churches. And then we
30:24
need to go out of the four
30:26
walls of our churches, out of the four walls of
30:28
our homes and begin to speak the truth in the
30:30
culture again. God calls us to
30:32
be men and women who speak the
30:34
truth. The Bible says that you'll
30:36
know the truth and the truth will set you free. And
30:38
as long as we live by lies, right?
30:42
What they did to us in COVID was
30:44
a lie. It was perpetuated by a lie.
30:46
It lived and breathed on a lie. The
30:48
fear that descended over this nation like a
30:50
cold wet blanket during the Rona was based
30:52
on a lie. Fear is
30:54
a cousin of deceit. And
30:57
when you have to push people
30:59
in to control them and
31:02
you do it through fear and you do it through lies,
31:04
then you can see why we're not called to give into
31:07
that spirit of fear. God didn't give
31:09
you a spirit of fear, power, love and a sound mind. So
31:11
how do you know if you're living in
31:13
fear? Well, the main way to know is
31:16
that you lose your power, you lose your love and
31:18
you lose your soundness of mind. And
31:20
we need it now more than ever.
31:22
So I just wanna encourage you guys be
31:25
in your Bibles every day. If you haven't joined me
31:27
yet over at The Faith That Speaks community, I hope
31:29
that you'll do that. And also I really hope that
31:31
you will take advantage of an
31:34
opportunity that I have to
31:36
engage with my audience to
31:39
check out my friends over at
31:42
VidAngel. I am more
31:44
and more concerned. I just met a mom the other day whose
31:47
12 year old daughter had been watching
31:49
something online on their
31:51
family, streaming videos. I
31:54
don't know if it was Netflix on it where she saw it, but
31:57
she started questioning her gender. And
31:59
at the age of 12, 12 for
32:01
goodness sake. I mean, when I was 12 years old, I
32:03
was, you know, we were still playing stickball for goodness sake.
32:06
And these kids are questioning their gender and the stuff
32:08
that's being pushed at them through,
32:10
you know, shows that we see movies,
32:12
things that stream on the internet is
32:15
absolutely disgusting. It's hurting our children. You
32:17
guys can enjoy watching
32:20
things on television without the foul language,
32:22
without the sexual content, without the, you
32:24
know, the naked rear ends in
32:26
your face every time you turn around without the
32:29
violence, without the profanity by checking
32:31
out what they're doing over at VidAngel. And
32:33
I hope you guys will do it. And
32:35
actually, if you go to vidangel.com/Heidi, they
32:38
will give you a two week free trial.
32:40
My husband and I have been using VidAngel for
32:42
years and years and years. And in fact, we
32:44
were using VidAngel before it was VidAngel a long
32:46
time ago with something called Clear Play. Some of
32:49
you guys might remember a little clunky because you
32:51
had to get like a thumb
32:53
drive and update it every time a new movie came
32:55
out. And this is much
32:57
more user friendly. You just turn
32:59
it on, you log in, you
33:02
load the show up that you want
33:04
on VidAngel via their streaming
33:06
platform. And then you decide, you can say
33:08
I don't want to see any naked Hinees.
33:10
I don't want to hear the Lord's name
33:13
in vain. I don't want to see sexual
33:15
content. And in fact,
33:17
I heard the other day that Yellowstone is
33:19
the most downloaded show on VidAngel,
33:23
which sort of cracks me up. Because I'm
33:25
like, I mean, how much of Yellowstone was left
33:27
after VidAngel after they, you know, picked
33:29
all the appropriate filters,
33:32
maybe 15 minutes. It
33:34
is a pretty good story. How do I know
33:36
that? Because I watched the first season of it,
33:38
you guessed it on VidAngel.
33:40
So check it out, you guys
33:43
go to vidangel.com/Heidi and get two
33:45
weeks free with the streaming platform. I
33:47
think you guys are gonna love it as much as
33:49
I do. You guys protect the hearts and minds of
33:51
your kids and you can protect your heart and
33:54
your mind too. And instead of being indoctrinated
33:56
by the world, we
33:58
can stand out as men and women. women who believe
34:00
God's word and live it out in the
34:02
culture. We love you guys. Thank you so
34:05
much for listening today. This is Heidi St. John
34:07
and I will see you right back here again at
34:09
the intersection of the West Bank.
