“It’s not that Therapy has all the answers, it just leads you to the answers“ - Cherise

What's this episode about?

Have you ever asked yourself “Is therapy right for me?” Well, we come from two different levels of experience with the topic of therapy but since the world is returning to normal and yet somehow we are still not back to normal, it seemed like the right time to explore the question, and with some professional help.

So, today we are going to dig into learning about the process of going to therapy. Erica has lot of personal experience with therapy, counseling and coaching and Laura is a blank slate so with that as our starting ground we decided it would be the PERFECT opportunity to bring on our first Oh, For Sure Podcast guest - Cherise Stewart, LMFT.

Cherise Stewart is a Marriage and Family therapist. She has been practicing for fourteen years and is currently in private practice in Willow Glen, California. She graduated from Santa Clara University with a MA in Counseling Psychology, with an emphasis in Health Psychology.

She has worked with adults, teens, and children with a variety of challenges including depression, anxiety, relationships, and motivation. It is her mission to help her clients become a healthier version of themselves.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and dog. She loves to travel and explore new places and has lived in three different countries.
