Evon Peter is the Chief of the Neetsaii Gwich'in people in Alaska. He is an amazing young man who, though he grew up carrying water to his one room house which was remote and without energy from gas or oil (no electricity, etc), now travels the world speaking about his people and all indigenous people and the welfare of all living things. He especially makes a plea for us in the United States to stop the US and the oil companies from drilling in the Arctic Wildlife Region. This bill is in the US Congress as we write right now.
