Talking all about the strange but awesome film of The Island of Dr Moreau, the 1996 version along with the making of documentary, Lost Soul: The Doomed Journey of Richard Stanley's Island of Dr. Moreau. A movie that sort of got trampled on back in the day by critics but it's actually something incredibly special and fun in a remarkably similar way to Apocalypse Now. Plus, the fact that Marlon Brando and Val Kilmer hate each other but both just chew the scenery up in their scenes. Too much just cool stuff going on in this version of the film and also the what ifs of how it was all originally supposed to go with its original director.
