On this week's episode of "Old Skool New Skool Comedy" podcast, Christy breaks bread with NYC's first Orthodox Jewish, transgender comic, Dana Friedman. She may be only 12 years in as a stand up, but she has spent a couple decades behind the scenes producing comedy. Starting out in her younger years as a musician, to producing comedy shows, booking gay comics for the Howard Stern Show in the early 90's, to taking comedy classes from the one and only Jessica Kirson, Dana has carved out her own niche in the stand up world with her incredibly smart writing and dead pan delivery. Following in the footsteps of transgender comedy greats such as Julia Scotti and Jaye McBride, she is definitey making a name for herself in the NYC comedy circuit.
