In the fifth episode Scott Hunt and Leigh Pleass talk the Singaporean Mathematics Approach. The introduction to primary school is discussed before moving into the more recent launch of this approach in secondary schools. The reasons behind it and the challenges that come with it are explored. Finally some concrete examples are outlined such as bar modelling.
