RENAISSANCE MAN OF THE CLANBrent David Fraser spent nearly 20 years working as an actor and musician, along with some writing, producing, and film scoring in Los Angeles before he moved back to Seattle, favoring the sea and rain of the Pacific Northwest. It is no surprise, really, as his family roots in Washington state go back to the 1800's.Born into two prominent Scottish-American family trees, Highland Fraser and Noble on his paternal side, and Lowland Hodge and Tate, with Dutch Nieukirk/Newkirk on his maternal side. His first forays into the entertainment and media fields were as a child singer and violinist, performing classical and fiddle music. He also started painting and poetry in childhood. He has appeared in numerous features such as David Lynch's “Wild at Heart”, “Dead and Breakfast”, “The Chocolate War” and “The Little Death” as well as noted television series “Fame LA”, “Outer Limits” and for Zalman King in both film and TV, in “Wild Orchid II” and “The Red Shoe Diaries.” As a musician Brent has songs in numerous films and tv shows including his song "A Burning Flame" off his CD, "Albion Moonlight and the Sea of Troubles", in "Crimes of the Past" also directed by Garrett Bennett. He's co-written songs with the late world renowned guitar player, Derek Frigo, in band U4EA & most recently for album "Wear a New Face" on 5 songs co-written with legendary guitarist Joey Molland of Badfinger & world renowned painter/singer/songwriter T.
