Roland Wicki, market development leader for Life Technologies, will be speaking to us today about a study that came out on Monday in the scientific journal, Nature Genetics. The paper titled, "A de novo paradigm for mental retardation," is about the research done by Dutch geneticists with the Radboud University Medical Centre. They found that spontaneous mutations are an important cause of mental retardation.
