On the Rise debuted on April 7, 2017. During Yolanda’s morning commute she used to talk with Marja on the phone. We jokingly said that we needed a show called, “Two Cell Phones for Jesus” because we found ourselves listening to and praying for many women in our lives. Soon after that Yolanda was approached by a former coaching client who asked her if she had ever thought about doing a radio show. She grabbed Marja and they said yes; On the Rise was born! It was evident that this show would be a way for us to reach and impact more women corporately than we had done as individuals.

On the Rise exists to encourage others in their personal and spiritual growth. We accomplish this goal through sharing our own experiences, humor, scripture, prayer, engaging guests, and making use of available resources. We promote our mission with uplifting events, such as book signings, health classes, life coaching, workshops, and conferences. We are a ministry primarily to women but for all who want to rise in their lives utilizing their God-given gifts and talents for His glory and the benefit of others. This is reflected in our tagline: Elevating your faith, mind and life! Let’s all rise together.
