Once Upon a Crescent - No Spoilers!I LOVE this podcast! The stories are so adorable, educational and entertaining for little ones. The show is made up of Islamic bedtime stories for kids intended to teach Islamic morals and manners in an appealing way. The episodes are great for a soothing bedtime and car rides as not only something your kiddo will beg to hear more of but that gives you a way to teach important lessons in something other than a lecture. Through out the episodes filled with a variety of characters and sound effects are important techniques for how to deal with all sorts of emotions and stressors in a mature responsible way. Created an made by a Muslim elementary school teacher, Mrs. Hashimi, the podcast has a solid five stars, 72 ratings and 20 written reviews. Started just in July of 2020 the show has 20 episodes all about 17 minutes in average length seasonally on a biweekly schedule. It just wrapped up its second season but doesn't have enough episodes for Owltail to generate a most popular list yet (it comes after about 21). My favorites have been Hamza's Lego Lesson and The Gentle Giraffes although it was pretty hard to choose between all of these great installments. The theme music is unique never failing to inspire the need to cozy up and listen. Zero warnings for this one as it's made for little ears.
