Lorraine speaks very quickly, which normally drives me nuts, but for her it works. She discusses horror films and occasionally the odd true crime case. I absolutely loved hearing her retelling the plots of horror films that I'll never watch (because I'm not a horror fan). If this review sounds sarcastic, it's not. Not to mention, as an American and a bit of an anglophile, her accent just speaks to me on a level that I never knew existed. Can't wait to hear more.

I LOVE silence of the Lambs. Lorraine does a great job of honouring and exploring the masterpiece of serial killer cinema. Amazing episode. Highly recommended.

Lorraine has done a great job with this podcast! Such an easy listen! She is well researched and has great topics!! Audio is also wonderful!! I had never heard the story of ‘The Bell Witch of Tennessee’ and was captivated from start to finish!!

First off, I absolutely LOVE the intro to this podcast. This show covers horror movies and cross-over in to the real-life stories they are sometimes based upon. I also love this concept.The host has a brilliant voice which I, you guessed it, love. The show uses sound clips from the films discussed which is a nice touch and reminds you of the source material. The host is really passionate about the topic and has clearly spent her time researching! Enjoyable podcast, well done to the host.

The editing is great and the content is interesting. I love how it is delivered and the quality is great! Can't wait to hear more!

Once Upon a Nightmare is fresh and impressive podcast. It includes quality production, is well led by host Lorraine, and is both entertaining and informative. The analysis is on point as well as easy to listen to and follow along. Any fans of horror movies and/or true crime of all levels need to listen and give this show a subscribe! This is one to keep an eye on.

Really fun and insightful look at both horror and true crime. I was a bit of a sceptic on the true crime subject but Lorraine knows what she’s talking about and is really engaging. Check it out folks!

Thoroughly enjoyed this podcast. I listened to the Bell Witch episode first, which is a movie I haven't seen but I thought the story sounded interesting. And boy was I right! Lorraine goes through it in such detail and with such insight that I could follow along easily. I'm definitely going to watch the film now!Also, the quality and editing is absolutely superb. Well worth a listen!

I listen to this every week. I would be the first to admit that true crime is not my thing (despite what surveys apparently say about women favouring it - really?) however, the way that Lorraine does these episodes, giving you enough of the right detail that you can understand the darkness in some of these people, is what makes it a must-listen.Have I mentioned her horror episodes? I was first introduced to this programme with the amazing Blade episode (seriously, listen to it) and I kept on coming back, listening to back episodes, and all the ones since.
