In this podcast I describe how COVID-19 impacted my other business and led me to start a skateboard brand Onda Skateboards.

My friend Av let me know that he was planning on skating again and I decided that I would join him. In  the process of learning to skateboard again I have made new friends, discovered new parts of London and developed a new sense of purpose and meaning.

COVID-19 has been a really difficult time for everyone. Schools were shut, many business closed and it's been very difficult keeping a part from friends and family for such a long period of time. Skateboarding has allowed me to escape from all that and it's been great to find something new and rewarding to direct my efforts towards.

Our brand sells cheap skateboard decks,  skateboard grip tape and other skate related soft and hard goods. 

We're really grateful for the support we've received from our local skate scene and we're excited to see where 2021 brings us.
