Sam Cahoon’s story is one of growing up with ADHD, coming out as gay this past January, and seeing the effects of kindness throughout his journey. Knowing what it was like to grow up as the kid who didn’t feel like he fit in, Sam utilized empathy and compassion to become a friend to all.

After graduating in December of 2020 from BYU, he came out publicly as gay. Sam now lives in San Diego and will be attending UC Berkeley for his MBA in 3 years—a feat he worked extremely hard for, especially while navigating his ADHD.
