Yesterday our group gathered to play a unique one shot of Dungeons & Dragons 5e. The party found themselves wandering within a foggy cave at the start of the game. As a bonus, our characters had no idea how we had gotten there, or even majority of our memories.
Our DM gave us blank character sheets, and a packet with our character name’s on them. Inside of each packet were three other packets. While he had copies of our sheets with stats filled out. We spent the first 30-60 minutes, we had to navigate the caves, looking for a way out. Simultaneously, trying to remember and discover our character’s skills.
During our adventure, our characters managed to trigger events that unlocked more memories. Allowing us to open one of three packets to fill out more of our character sheets; as seen above.
We ended with a crazy and unexpected event. At least I didn’t see it coming.
