Spotify Plans to Raise Their Prices.

Announced during their earnings report, Spotify has plans to raise the price of their premium subscription from the $9.99 price point that it currently sits at. We don't know how much of a price hike to expect, but Spotify seems to be going full Netflix as they try to balance the price of owning content with the revenue that they can generate. 

VICE Media is Bringing Host-less Podcasting to the Market.

VICE's new podcast "Source Material" is a podcast that is entirely produced through user-generated content. This means that you are getting stories told through the video and audio footage coming from people that lived the story. Will this be a better or worse way to engage listeners? 

Zoom's Podtrak4 is the Audio Recorder FOR Podcasting.

No, this isn't the same Zoom that we have all been using since March. "Zoom" is also the name of the company that has been making audio equipment for a long time. Their H6 audio recorder currently stands as the industry standard for high end audio and video production, but now they offer an audio recorder designed specifically for podcasters.
