My guess today's a man who was

0:02

not only comfortable with violence, but he's

0:04

also comfortable with empathy, compassion, and forgiveness.

0:07

And I think that's exactly what makes

0:09

us men. The. Ability to administer

0:11

violence and the capacity to restrain

0:13

ourselves and harness it for good.

0:15

His name is Victor Marks. He's

0:17

a high risk humanitarian and today

0:19

he's here to talk with us

0:21

about. What? Is really going

0:23

down in Israel? The risks it

0:26

possesses to the United States? The.

0:28

Fight of good and evil in

0:30

society today. Surrounding yourself with right

0:32

people, how to make important decisions

0:34

based in love. And. The

0:36

burden and blessing of masculinity.

0:39

You're a man of action. You live

0:42

life to the fullest. Embrace your for

0:44

years he boldly charge your own have

0:46

when like knock you down to get

0:48

back up one more time every time

0:50

you are not easily to turn feel

0:52

groggy really strong. This is your life.

0:54

This is who you are. This is

0:57

who you will become the end of

0:59

the day and never always said and

1:01

done. You can call yourself a man

1:03

gentlemen. what is going on today? My

1:05

name is Ryan Mickler. I'm your host

1:07

on the founder of the Order A

1:09

Man podcast. A movement. Welcome here today

1:11

and of course welcome back if you've

1:13

been with us for any amount of

1:15

time. If you are new, we want

1:17

to give you all the tools, information,

1:20

resources, guidance, direction to reclaim and restore

1:22

masculinity not only in society, but in

1:24

the walls of your home and in

1:26

the communities that we live in. A

1:28

new know As well as I do

1:30

that we need more men to step

1:32

up now maybe more than ever were

1:34

at a a precipice read a very

1:36

important time in society and our if

1:38

we don't step up. Things. Are

1:40

going to get worse. We're gonna see a

1:42

lot of violence. We're gonna see poverty. We're

1:45

going to see some very destructive and dangerous

1:47

things to our society, culture, and of course

1:49

this country. If we do step up. We

1:52

have an opportunity to save our families or

1:54

friends or coworkers or neighborhoods, our communities and

1:56

this country and my job is to give

1:58

you everything you need. to do that. And of

2:01

course, I'm in the battle as well. Guys,

2:03

I've got a very good conversation with somebody who's

2:05

helping lead the charge of masculinity. His name is

2:07

Victor Mark. Before I get into

2:09

that, I want to make sure that I

2:11

mentioned another organization that's doing its part to

2:13

restore society and culture specifically here in the

2:16

United States. And it's a little

2:18

interesting talking with you about this when it comes to

2:21

restoring culture. But

2:23

I believe that Montana Knife Company is

2:25

playing a big part in bringing back

2:27

the American dream because these guys are

2:30

making their knives 100% made

2:33

in America. So they're employing people in

2:35

America. They're putting people to work. They're

2:38

offering great products and services. And I

2:40

can't think of a better group of people

2:43

and company than my friends over at Montana

2:45

Knife Company. So if you want to support

2:47

American and put people to work here in

2:49

America and build this American dream and then

2:51

inspire other companies to do the same, then

2:54

please go support these guys by buying one of their

2:56

knives or their products at

2:58

montanaknifecompany.com. And when you

3:00

do use the code order of man, all one

3:02

word at checkout, order of man

3:04

at checkout. All

3:07

right, guys, let me introduce you to Victor.

3:09

He is incredible. He's

3:11

a former Marine. He's a high risk humanitarian.

3:14

He's an author. In fact, he

3:16

comes out with his new book, The Dangerous

3:18

Gentlemen this year on Father's Day. And

3:20

he's a hell of a human being as

3:23

he's quite literally risked his life in

3:25

dozens and dozens of

3:27

humanitarian operations across the

3:30

globe, including his latest to Israel and

3:32

Gaza, which he talks with us today

3:34

about. So I'm excited about that.

3:37

I've been following for Victor for years. And

3:39

I'm very honored we could finally make this

3:41

conversation happen because I'm inspired by what he's

3:43

doing. I want to be a better

3:45

man. And he helps me do that

3:48

through his example. Guys, please enjoy this

3:50

conversation. Victor,

3:52

what's up, brother? So great to see you honored to have

3:54

you on the podcast. I've been wanting to have this happen

3:56

for a very long time. So I'm glad you're here. brother.

4:01

And I'm glad to be here. Glad it worked

4:03

out. God's perfect timing, I think. I

4:05

think so, between your international travels. Because

4:08

if I understand correctly, did you just

4:10

get back from Israel? I

4:12

did. Yeah. So tell me a

4:14

little bit about that. Because I'm interested in the concept

4:16

of this

4:18

high risk humanitarian idea.

4:21

That is something that's very fascinating to me. And

4:23

I love to see a man who doesn't just

4:26

talk about improving the lives of

4:28

other people, but actually going out and putting himself in

4:30

harm's way to do so. Well, yeah.

4:32

I mean, I think

4:34

love is always an action word.

4:37

And the Scriptures say,

4:39

faith without works is dead. So,

4:42

you know, a

4:45

young man that was on our teams

4:47

but was killed during rescuing a girl

4:51

in Iraq from ISIS, you

4:54

know, he would say, you know,

4:58

it's not words that prove who you

5:00

are, but it's what you do. People

5:05

get really good at words. And

5:08

words don't matter, but the actions

5:10

prove what you believe. So,

5:13

yeah, we started doing high risk

5:15

work overseas just

5:17

about nine years ago. And

5:22

first, it's nothing I wanted to do.

5:25

I'll just say that this wasn't

5:27

something that I dreamed about. But

5:32

it was a calling for me. So it

5:34

started out in Burma with

5:37

Dave Eubank and Free Burma Rangers.

5:40

And we were there

5:42

for, you know, the end

5:45

of a year. I did about a

5:47

30-day pump into there. We

5:49

were training guys who helped

5:51

protect innocent civilians. And

5:54

then it grew. It grew to

5:56

where we got invited into Iraq

5:58

to help trauma-cave. care for women

6:00

who had been held captive, girls who had

6:03

been held captive by ISIS. So

6:05

when I took a team into that environment,

6:08

man, we were just baptized

6:10

by fire of

6:12

the need and then

6:15

how horrific things were. And

6:17

I'll tell you, Ryan, you

6:20

know, only by the hand of

6:22

God were did

6:24

we see doors open for access and placement. And

6:28

we became very effective in

6:30

what we were doing. So here

6:33

we are, nine

6:35

plus years later, and they've

6:37

been a decade. We're

6:39

well over 130 missions. I'm

6:45

17 plus times overseas. We

6:47

still have a home in Iraq, like

6:50

you mentioned at the opening of this. It's

6:52

just in Israel, but I actually went

6:54

into Gaza and the

6:57

West Bank and

6:59

then northern Israel, I mean,

7:03

very, very close to the Lebanon

7:05

border. And

7:09

it just became this

7:11

unbelievable opportunity

7:16

to help people, like you said, from

7:19

victims to people who

7:21

needed to be rescued or recovered

7:24

out of harm's way

7:26

and to trauma

7:28

care, to training. We got

7:30

into a training aspect of

7:33

people fighting, you know, the fighting and

7:36

protecting. And I

7:39

just, I won't let your constituents know, because

7:41

people are like, wait, you've

7:43

been overseas 17 times, you

7:46

know, was that why you were in the military? I

7:48

said, no, as a matter of fact, it

7:50

was all while I was in my fifties. Also

7:53

traveling. Yeah. A

7:55

civilian traveling leading

7:58

teams into Iraq. Syria,

8:00

Northern Iraq, Northern

8:03

Africa, Middle East, Southeast Asia, south

8:05

of the border. And

8:08

I couldn't do it without prayer, without

8:10

people supporting us because we're independently

8:12

funded by just small donors. A

8:16

few big ones, but we don't take government money. And

8:19

it's been quite the ride,

8:21

to say the least. We've helped just in

8:23

the Middle East over 45,000 women and children. Wow.

8:28

That's amazing. You said something

8:30

interesting, and I want to call attention

8:32

to it and ask you about this because you said, only by

8:34

the hand of God have you been able to go in and

8:37

do these things and rescue women and

8:39

people who need help, frankly, who

8:42

can't do it on their own for whatever reason. I'm

8:45

a believer myself, but I know a lot

8:47

of men question what that

8:49

means when a God would allow

8:52

these situations to happen. And

8:54

then here you are saying, hey, only by the hand of God can

8:57

we go in and rescue and do this good work. And

8:59

these guys will say, well, what kind of God would allow

9:01

that in the first place? How do you reconcile the two?

9:04

Well, it's a great question and

9:07

good questions we should never

9:09

be afraid to face and work through. I

9:12

don't have an answer to every question, but this

9:14

one I do. And

9:16

because I've had to reconcile it in my own

9:19

life personally as a kid and what

9:21

I went through. And then when you

9:23

see evil. So

9:25

what I've learned that you have an

9:27

all-loving God who's a just

9:29

God and He's righteous, but

9:32

He did implement for man

9:35

time to choose whether

9:37

they want to do good or evil. He

9:40

gave us a free will. So

9:42

everyone has a choice. If

9:44

He didn't give us that choice, we would

9:47

be robotic. And therefore, we could

9:49

never have an authentic relationship with

9:51

them. And men who

9:53

have kids, if your kid

9:55

was always scared of you and only

9:57

came to you out of fear and was

9:59

like, a regular robot, there would be no

10:02

satisfaction out of that or

10:04

even a spouse. So God allows men,

10:07

men make the choice to do good evil, and

10:11

God never calls us evil to be done.

10:13

He allows men to choose. Now, what's amazing

10:15

to me, and I've got to

10:17

know this on the second back half of my

10:19

life, is God is

10:21

a great redeemer of the evil that men

10:23

do. He's a

10:25

great redeemer. Not a redemptive aspect

10:28

of God. It wouldn't work for me.

10:31

So I have seen

10:33

God redeem the worst that

10:35

evil can do. There's

10:38

always pain and suffering that's involved, but

10:40

He can redeem it. And I

10:42

think ultimately, justice that's not

10:44

God on this earth will be at the

10:48

day of reckoning. So I

10:52

just tell men, look, I don't

10:54

understand it all. I

10:58

don't know why people do certain things, but

11:03

when I picked up a kid who's perhaps

11:06

were murdered by ISIS and

11:09

went through several checkpoints to

11:13

get him out and had

11:15

grenades and an AK and a

11:18

team watching after us, and

11:22

to hold him in our house and

11:25

hear Christ, the Christ of

11:27

the baby who was a true

11:29

orphan by ours, knowing he'll

11:31

never see his parents again, I don't

11:34

place the blame on God, a place

11:36

where it should be on the evil men that did

11:38

this. And I thank God for allowing

11:41

me and my wife and our family

11:43

and our teams to be present to

11:45

bring comfort to this little boy. And

11:49

there's been so many times I've held

11:51

kids and that

11:54

it's been horrible. So I

11:56

just kind of say, hey, it's a

11:58

waste of energy to being a woman. anger at God,

12:01

but you could actually, you in some form

12:04

or fashion, be the answer to the prayer

12:07

of a release of suffering. So

12:10

what do we do? Do

12:12

you feel like, I know

12:14

probably to a lesser degree than your personal

12:16

story, but I feel like the challenging times

12:18

in my life were presented to me so

12:21

that I can overcome them and help other

12:23

people overcome the same. I don't

12:25

want to put words in your mouth by any means, but

12:27

I know a little bit about your story growing

12:30

up. You were physically and sexually abused. You were

12:32

frankly left for dead, if I understand, in an

12:34

industrial or commercial cooler, you

12:36

were left for dead. Do you

12:39

feel like that's the

12:41

case for you or is it something else entirely?

12:43

Because I'm wondering if that helped you, aligned you

12:46

towards what it is you're doing now. Yeah,

12:49

I'd say a thousand percent and

12:51

I do talk about that. I

12:53

believe part of my nature for

12:56

me is to minimize things that

12:58

have happened as

13:00

a survival mechanism to push, but

13:03

in doing that you tend to

13:06

forget. I've

13:09

never been able to forget

13:11

about the kids who suffered like

13:13

I did, which has been

13:15

both a burden and a blessing. Yesterday

13:19

I'm looking up old videos

13:23

from almost a decade ago

13:25

and I couldn't watch them. I had to turn them off.

13:27

I saw it get emotional. I was like, I

13:30

don't want to remember all that. It's

13:32

even good stuff, all the good stuff that we've

13:34

done, but it's so

13:36

personal to me. I think God,

13:39

that cliche, you get better and

13:41

better. For me, I just say, well,

13:44

your heart either gets harder or it

13:48

increases your capacity to help and love

13:50

others. I think that's what God

13:52

has done for me. Now, my wife and

13:55

family and team, they'll tell the world,

13:57

don't worry, Victor has these

13:59

hate you days where, you know,

14:01

he'd rather just kill

14:04

a bunch of bad people. And

14:07

I have to guard my

14:09

heart about that because like one

14:12

case recently was a horrible

14:15

situation where this girl was stabbed

14:17

multiple times, back-faced in Southeast Asia,

14:20

raped and left her dead. Our

14:22

team recovered her, saved her life

14:25

by emergency matter, I mean, saved

14:27

her life. Me

14:29

and one other fella, we flew down and in

14:32

72 hours, in

14:34

72 hours, we were able to confirm

14:36

the arrest of the attacker. And

14:41

I remember when he was in the jail, you

14:45

know, I had my guy said, hey

14:47

go ahead and give me 15 minutes with him and

14:51

normally our access would be granted.

14:54

But for that day, for some

14:56

special reason, all

14:58

powers that be, because they ran me

15:00

and they're like, no. I said,

15:03

you know, yeah give them the special tax

15:05

money, give them that. And then I was

15:07

like, I just need five minutes. And

15:11

to be quite transparent, you

15:13

know, I was gonna cut off a couple

15:15

of his fingers and I know that may

15:17

sound harsh to some people, but

15:19

if you saw what he did with this girl, lop

15:21

of a couple of fingers off, what

15:24

would not have, is not a big deal. But

15:26

it would be a mark and a reminder for

15:28

everyone who saw him, even while he was in.

15:30

So the the chief of

15:32

police was like, we know him,

15:35

he may kill him. I was telling him,

15:38

I'm not gonna kill him, I'm not gonna

15:40

kill him. But that's when, you

15:43

know, in the quietness of my heart, it was an

15:45

easy justification to, you know, do something with this guy

15:47

who has feelings, but God

15:49

was saying, but is that what I'm

15:51

calling you to do today? Is that what I want

15:53

you to do? And ultimately, we

15:55

have to submit ourselves to God, because

15:57

I've gotten a green lot, green lot.

16:00

sight a lot of times from

16:02

God, as I understood it, to

16:04

do things that would stop the manifestation of

16:06

evil appropriately in

16:09

different countries. And I

16:12

sleep well about decisions I've made based

16:15

on the Lord. This

16:17

is a honest way forward to

16:21

bring a solution. But men,

16:24

if you're not careful, you get

16:26

sucked into this hatred and darkness.

16:28

It's almost like there was a

16:30

movie Spider-Man, where some type of foreign

16:32

thing would get on him and it started to

16:34

grow. And it would

16:37

turn Spider-Man into this alien, this

16:40

black stuff, and then

16:42

he would do negative. So that's kind of how I see

16:44

it when it gets time for

16:46

people to work close against evil. How

16:49

do you personally do that? Because all of us wrestle with

16:52

that. I'm glad you said, I think

16:54

just to quote you here, the green light from God to do what

16:56

I need to do to stop evil. I

16:59

mean, the Bible is rife with experiences and

17:02

examples of just what you said. Yeah.

17:04

But how do you know, number one, how

17:06

do you know when you have the quote

17:09

unquote green light, and how do you temper

17:12

yourself? Are there things that you have

17:14

in place, backstops, if

17:16

you will, that you have in place to

17:18

ensure that you're doing what you

17:21

feel God would have you do? Great

17:23

question. I want to surround

17:25

myself with men and women who

17:28

would check me, you

17:31

know, if they see me pulling

17:33

the wood chipper out, you know, and they're like,

17:36

buddy, there's no trees around here. There's no trees in

17:39

the desert here. Yeah. So

17:43

I really do surround myself with

17:45

very capable, there's a level of

17:48

accountability. So none of us slip

17:50

into nonsense. And

17:52

then I would say this, there

17:56

are times where you just

17:58

simply have to ask. God, do you

18:01

want this person here no more? Do you want

18:03

this group of people to go away? Are

18:06

you wanting to use me in decision-making

18:08

to change their

18:11

address permanently? The

18:13

Holy Spirit is not quiet to me.

18:16

He gives me a peace. He gives

18:18

me confirmation. I've

18:21

heard plenty of

18:24

times hold or don't.

18:27

I'll give you a great example. And

18:29

this may... I hope

18:32

people receive this correctly. But

18:35

about three... I think it was three months ago somebody tried to

18:37

kill me here in the US. They were

18:39

hiding in a trailer. Someone went

18:41

by it. They shot at me through

18:43

a tinted window. It was an ambush.

18:46

And we measured it

18:49

was like a 36-inch difference from point

18:51

of barrel to my head. And

18:54

the bullet missed me. The

18:56

first one was like two inches from my face

18:59

right here. And again, it

19:02

was all measured out. And

19:05

my first thought when that happened,

19:07

I had two thoughts. One,

19:11

that's really loud because there's a wall

19:13

behind me. I was like, how?

19:16

And the second one, I was

19:18

just low IQ. I

19:22

mean, I threw my weapon, moved off. And

19:24

my first thought was, that's not funny. I

19:27

mean, shoot at me that close. That'll

19:29

get you killed. And

19:31

then I realized, oh, so this guy

19:33

is trying to kill me. I put my red dot on him

19:36

where he was. I could have...

19:38

I mean, it would have been so easy.

19:40

Easy, like not even, you know, nothing to brag

19:42

about. I could have just smoked this dude.

19:44

And I heard the Holy Spirit say, don't shoot him. And

19:48

I put my weapon in, moved to a

19:50

different cover. And

19:53

I said, oh, I mean, it

19:55

wasn't an argument, Ryan. I must

19:57

tell your viewers. It wasn't.

20:00

why it wasn't a question. He

20:02

said, okay. And then I

20:05

told the guy, hey, man, you better throw that weapon off

20:07

to him. You're going to get killed. Boom,

20:09

he shoots again. I move to

20:11

a different cover. I put my red dot

20:14

on him again. Very, I could

20:16

very quietly hear the Holy Spirit say, don't

20:18

shoot him. And again, I'm not

20:20

arguing. At my stage in the game,

20:22

and a lifetime of a lot

20:25

of experiences of you better

20:27

hear and obey God or it won't turn

20:29

out the best way, even if you think,

20:32

well, this is a better way. God knows best.

20:35

It ended up being a five and a half

20:37

hour standoff we called, I

20:40

called, you know, sheriff's department,

20:42

which I think it was about a half hour

20:44

delay before the first unit came. So

20:47

I had other opportunities to

20:49

smoke this guy. And what I did tell

20:51

my wife, because she was on scene where

20:53

we were, and we

20:55

had to protect some

20:58

elderly people in this

21:00

little house next to this trailer where he shot

21:02

him. I just told my wife,

21:04

I said, now, I'm going to shot

21:06

him. I said, but if he comes around

21:08

the corner to come in this house, I'll

21:11

kill him. I just want you to

21:13

be ready and everybody, I'm going to have to kill this

21:15

guy. And my wife was like, okay.

21:18

And I had a piece too, because that, that

21:21

I can't let him come into the house

21:23

and kill everybody. So see, that's the green

21:25

light I knew. And it's

21:27

like, okay. So I had settled

21:29

that and I felt a piece. It was like,

21:31

God's in, if he goes on that corner, you can.

21:35

But he didn't. He stayed up on that

21:37

trailer, five and a half hours standoff with

21:39

SWAT, you know,

21:41

drones, everything, EOD, they came out

21:44

and three

21:46

minutes before they were going to, you

21:48

know, hit that door. Because

21:50

I was part of this

21:53

process. He surrendered

21:56

and he came out and, you

21:58

know, didn't have a weapon. And on

22:01

the 19th of last month, he was

22:03

arraigned for second degree attempted murder. So

22:08

what's the difference? Well, now he

22:10

has a chance to

22:13

get right with God, get

22:16

his life straight. He's going

22:18

to have to pay a consequence. If

22:21

I would have killed him, it would

22:23

have been justified by everybody except

22:26

God. And

22:28

God knows. The other thing,

22:30

it gave me an opportunity to learn

22:33

to forgive again in a

22:35

different way because I forgive

22:37

him perpetrates in my childhood, different

22:40

things. This was very fresh. And

22:44

the first night I forgave him, I said, Lord,

22:47

I forgive that man. And

22:50

thank you that all I got was

22:52

shrapnel in my eye from the aluminum

22:54

frame. So I told

22:56

my wife, I think the bullet hit me

22:59

in my eye and it bounced off. I'm not sure

23:01

we'll have to ask about it. That's absolutely what happened.

23:03

Yeah. And she's like, really? I

23:05

said, can I get a patch or something?

23:08

I want to walk around like a pirate for a minute.

23:13

And I beg of my wife because she shoots as good

23:15

as me. Or

23:17

I've been overseas and I'm

23:20

like, you know, man, there was this time

23:22

ISIS was coming up and they were hitting

23:24

the animals. And she's like, yeah,

23:26

I know I was next to you, babe. Okay.

23:28

Remember, I didn't quite go exactly the

23:31

way you recall. Yeah. Or

23:34

if it did, she literally was right

23:36

there. She's like, honey, I was there.

23:38

I remember. Okay. Can we

23:41

move on? Like, all right. I mean,

23:43

we were just at SHOT Show. This is

23:45

a sidebar. We're out on rain

23:48

stay and people letting us shoot their weapons. She

23:51

sits down behind this weapon and asks,

23:54

can she shoot? Oh, yeah. And

23:57

he goes, he's like, ma'am, there's

23:59

a hundred. yard target right out there and

24:01

you want to put the crosshairs and

24:04

I said, what's the one way out there? You

24:07

know, that's a thousand yards. I

24:09

said, can you let the little lady try?

24:12

He's like, sure, sure enough he'd dial

24:14

her in. Boom, she hit it a thousand yards. Every

24:16

person on our team, five people right there, hit

24:18

a thousand yards, shot, boom, boom, boom.

24:22

So that goes back to my point. I sort of want to serve a great people. I

24:24

have a history of Lord, tell

24:26

me, because I've done things on my own and

24:29

regretted it. And like, I should

24:31

have listened. But

24:34

yeah, I think I know

24:36

God's grace better. I did get very

24:38

angry at the person who shot at me here, but it was like

24:40

a couple days later when like

24:43

investigation measuring the distance and I went

24:45

into the train and saw how

24:48

the tinted window, it was an ambush. I mean,

24:50

he's shooting at me and I couldn't even see

24:52

him. I got pretty

24:54

angry about that, which

24:57

is just processing, processing,

24:59

you know, a trauma. But

25:02

what was funny was the first officer who

25:04

came on scene, at the end

25:06

of the night, he's done a report and he

25:08

said, I got a buddy next to me, but

25:11

he's going through a victimization in

25:13

a brochure and he says, sir, being

25:15

shot at is a very traumatic

25:17

experience. Here are some services we

25:20

offer and you may want to, I said, oh,

25:22

thank you. He said, do you have any questions?

25:24

I go, do y'all offer

25:26

like coupons to Cold Stone? Does

25:28

that really, that can really help

25:30

me. And he's going, he's

25:32

a younger officer going, I made

25:34

a weekend and then he said,

25:36

anything else I go, could you

25:38

hold me? He's like,

25:41

okay, this is getting odd. My

25:43

buddy's like, trust me, he'd been shot at. So

25:46

yeah, yeah. So hearing

25:48

God is important and I

25:50

mean, I encourage men, you got to practice it. Yeah.

25:55

What do you want them to do? And normally

25:57

it's uncomfortable stuff and stuff down to your side. So

26:01

how, uh, how is your wife with all of

26:03

this? She sounds, it sounds like she's, she's your

26:06

partner in crime, so to speak. And she's fully

26:08

on board. Has this always been the case or

26:10

has there been a gradual

26:12

move or her accepting, Hey, this is just the

26:14

way Victor is. Or what does that relationship look

26:17

like? Cause I know you guys have had your,

26:19

your share of marital struggles as well. Yeah. Uh,

26:21

seems like you guys are doing some amazing things

26:23

now. Well, thanks. We, you

26:25

know, she is an alpha. Female.

26:29

And I'm only saying that for

26:31

lack of a better term. She's,

26:33

she's a very capable, strong willed

26:35

woman. There's no other way around it. I

26:38

mean, she had born misfitness USA. She

26:40

had her companies before me. So

26:43

she's not a little Daisy. I call

26:45

her my Rosa thorns and that, that

26:47

caused problems. Cause she's super competitive and

26:50

we ran martial arts schools together. We train

26:53

together. Um, and

26:55

quite frankly, I told her, I said, look,

26:57

you're more intelligent than me. All right. It's

26:59

not a contest. Um,

27:02

and we would butt heads and you know,

27:04

cause she didn't like me making the final

27:07

decisions on some things early on. And

27:11

it came, you know, I got tired of fighting with her.

27:14

Um, and I just said, look, here's

27:16

the deal. You make a better decision. You're

27:19

more intelligent, but

27:21

you're not the husband. So

27:23

I have to answer to God. You'll have to answer

27:25

to him. And if I mess

27:27

up, he'll do of

27:30

course, correction, but you're supposed to support me

27:33

and then I let her know I before

27:35

we announced about, see, what do you think? And

27:38

I helped her understand. I understand your

27:40

value. It just be like a team

27:43

member. You know,

27:45

where if you're

27:47

doing something, let's

27:49

say you're shooting, you got a spotter. You're not

27:51

going to tell your spotter. I don't, I don't

27:53

like, you know, two clicks to the

27:55

right that he's seeing stuff.

27:57

You don't keep Mariah.

28:00

when, so that's how

28:02

I look at my wife when it's time for me to

28:04

pull the trigger. A lot of times I'm

28:06

like, honey, get behind the weapon, you

28:09

know, and I'd encourage men and wives

28:11

to learn, our motto is learn to fight back

28:13

to back, not nose to nose. And

28:16

she has been with me in

28:18

some of the most high-risk

28:23

hell zones ever.

28:29

I'll just say this, you want

28:31

to know a hard conversation? Is when

28:33

your wife, you're going into Syria or

28:36

Iraq and

28:38

your wife looks at you and says, if

28:40

things go sideways, don't

28:43

let anyone take me.

28:46

Give me your word, do

28:48

not let me be taken by

28:51

ISIS. And I

28:53

know what that meant and I, you know, this is crazy.

28:57

Why are we having those conversations? But,

28:59

you know, guys, I do things

29:02

right in a lot of experience, you know,

29:04

nobody wants to be taken captive. Yeah.

29:07

Of course, because of the outcomes. But that's a

29:09

word conversation I have with your wife. And

29:13

then there's fun parts too. I

29:16

remember we were in Syria leading the

29:18

team to an ISIS confinement camp and

29:21

we were, we had a hide in this little

29:23

place one night. It was, I

29:25

can't even, it's not a hotel, it was just

29:27

this little, and we were

29:30

in a second-story room and

29:32

Assad's men were about 150 yards from us. So I got

29:34

a guy

29:36

on the door with a, you

29:38

know, weapon. We have

29:40

a dog, one of our trained

29:42

dogs, and I had a tomahawk.

29:46

And so we get in this raggedy

29:49

little place and nasty. But

29:53

we gotta catch some shut-eye. I think we've done eight

29:55

hours on the road, you know,

29:57

home-bound, trying to get to where we are before

29:59

the next day. More lame than bed

30:01

exhausted. Ryan, I turn over and look

30:03

at her and said, hey, what's

30:06

up? Hey, you know, got that rule,

30:09

new country. Little

30:16

love. She's like, you gotta be kidding me. I thought

30:18

the man's all right. We got ISIS for good and

30:20

I said, I

30:23

want to tell the story to operators

30:25

and to you how it goes. All

30:27

I gotta say is mission accomplished. So

30:29

yeah, I was the Arabian night that

30:31

night. So

30:34

under great stress and hardship,

30:38

we have to choose. I mean,

30:41

you either spend your energy on being

30:43

an ass and not making things

30:45

work out or go, hey, let's just, let's

30:47

focus on the positive here. What, let's have

30:49

fun. Let's have fun with our lives. Stress

30:52

is enough. And so

30:54

not nose to nose, but back to back. Yeah,

30:58

man. Let me just step away from

31:00

the conversation very quickly. Guys, we only

31:02

have five spots to our uprising experience

31:04

on may 2nd through the fifth, 2024.

31:08

And I would love for you to join me and also 19 other

31:11

men for an unforgettable experience to

31:13

forge deep bonds with

31:15

other high caliber, high producing men.

31:18

When you join with us, you're going to descend

31:20

to Southern Utah to be put to the test

31:22

in a way that you've never been before. And

31:24

you're going to walk away with new

31:27

bonds and new information that are going

31:29

to help you elevate your life across

31:31

all fronts. Now, remember, we only have

31:33

five spots remaining. And I want you

31:35

to be one of those five that

31:37

come with us because this is going to be an

31:40

experience that yes, we've done in the past, but

31:42

it's been six years. So I've got some new

31:44

tricks up my sleeve to help you take your

31:47

life to the next level. You can join us

31:49

this spring in May and

31:51

get registered at order of

31:53

man.com/uprising. That's order of man.com/uprising.

31:55

I hope to see you

31:57

there. Yeah,

32:00

that's powerful. Tell me a little bit

32:02

about your recent trip to Israel

32:05

and Gaza, because I think there's

32:07

a lot of misconception. I think there's a lot of propaganda.

32:10

There's a lot of misunderstanding. I mean, I hear

32:12

it. I'm not an expert, so I can't say

32:14

that I know much about

32:16

it other than what I received through the news

32:18

and various outlets. But it seems to me that

32:20

people are so confused about what in the world

32:22

is happening in Israel. Yeah. Well,

32:25

there is some confusion. We were

32:28

there literally the week after it

32:30

happened. We assembled a team. We

32:33

got access and placement and an invitation, because

32:35

I won't go. There are

32:37

people that try to force themselves into

32:39

situations, organizations, and

32:42

then they end up calling

32:44

me. One of my guys said, hey, are

32:46

you all in country? What are you doing? Can we do

32:48

something with you all? And they were like, thanks. No,

32:51

there's not a need. We love you

32:54

guys. Go do what

32:56

you all need to do. And for

32:59

us, first, I had

33:01

to see the

33:03

carnage. I had to see the attacks. I had

33:05

to see with my own eyes the

33:08

places that were hit. That was my

33:10

first order of business. And I will say, it was

33:13

the worst carnage I've ever seen in my life of

33:16

massive slaughtering.

33:18

And I was at the

33:21

music grounds. I was in the kabutzes. And

33:26

it was so bad, Ryan, that

33:29

I made a commitment. When I came back from that

33:32

pump, I said, I will never wear

33:34

the same boots again. And

33:36

I didn't. I will

33:39

not put those boots on. I walked

33:41

in so much children's blood and

33:43

just seeing blood stains

33:46

where kids and women are being

33:48

dragged out, hands on a wall

33:50

where a child is trying to grab

33:52

a wall and they get blood on their hands. It

33:55

was just nonstop. It was just nonstop. Going

33:58

to a room where the dad had pulled out

34:00

his pistol and emptied

34:02

his mag casings everywhere and

34:04

looking at the rounds that

34:07

a mosque was shooting through the door

34:09

and then killed all of them. So

34:12

I saw it firsthand and

34:15

it was evil. It was unprovoked,

34:18

unjustified. It

34:20

was a terrorist act. Now,

34:23

where confusion comes in is

34:26

people say, one, how did they

34:28

even get in because

34:31

Israel's so tight? And

34:33

two, why was there a six-hour delay

34:36

of the IDF forces to respond to

34:38

the attack? Those are valid.

34:41

And I'll say this, risking

34:44

relationships, there's some messed

34:46

up stuff in the leadership in Israel. Absolutely

34:49

messed up. And

34:51

I have relationship with SF

34:53

Teams units that we train that

34:56

are fighting right now. I

34:58

still get calms for prayer

35:01

and encouragement. I mean,

35:03

we outfitted, we brought

35:05

gear, stuff that they need.

35:08

But I'll tell you, some

35:11

very bad leadership decisions were

35:13

made to not allow the IDF

35:15

to respond. Because we're talking, the

35:17

Gaza Strip, I mean,

35:20

from where helicopters could be spun up

35:22

and they could hit. I mean, it's

35:25

like a 10-minute deal. And

35:28

they're always on semi-alert because

35:31

rockets never stop. While

35:33

we were there, we caught 2,000 rockets

35:36

that had come in from Hamas. So

35:40

there is bad stuff happening in

35:43

the leadership of Israel that people better

35:45

be fired or prosecuted. Because

35:48

as always, it's the kids that pay

35:50

the biggest price for

35:52

man's selfishness and war. But

35:56

the other piece is the Palestinians,

35:58

right? I have Palestinian

36:01

friends. I went into the West Bank.

36:04

There are even Christians who are Palestinians

36:06

that love God. There

36:08

are Muslim friends I have, I

36:10

mean, very close to that

36:13

hate Hamas. But

36:15

it's like most

36:17

people of our persuasion,

36:21

we're not big fans of Biden in

36:23

the administration, right? Because they

36:25

just suck. And

36:28

I would say this, what

36:30

can we do to change Biden's decision on

36:32

the border? But we

36:34

haven't done any, there's been no, evil

36:38

keeps coming in, pouring in. Hamas

36:41

is about a thousand times worse than

36:45

Biden because if you stand up or say

36:47

anything, they just kill you, they'll kill your

36:49

family. So I need people

36:51

to understand there are great, wonderful

36:54

Palestinians that just want

36:56

a simple life. And

36:58

I'd say this is the number percentage

37:00

I got. It's speculation, but

37:02

about 70% of the people would not

37:05

want to live under Hamas rule. But

37:08

that other 30%, Palestinians make sure

37:11

Hamas, they're evil, man. And

37:14

people like that, what people

37:16

don't understand, let me ask you, did you

37:19

know this? That when Hamas hit the

37:21

initial 23 events, boom,

37:23

they come through, they're

37:26

killing, rape and did you

37:28

know a second wave came in from

37:31

Gaza? Yeah, no, I didn't know that. A

37:33

second wave, your viewers, I'm telling you first

37:36

hand, second wave came in and they were

37:38

Palestinians. They were

37:41

Hamas sympathizers, all

37:43

civilians, they came in, man,

37:46

they're finding people hiding, they're shooting

37:48

them, they're raping them. They're

37:50

taking batteries out of

37:52

cars because they can't get

37:54

them and it was like a, it was

37:58

pillage and plunder. So,

38:01

this is where the Israelis struggle

38:05

with this sense of

38:07

justice and a

38:09

hatred. And I'll tell

38:11

you what, if

38:15

it would be equivalent to a

38:18

terrorist organization coming up to Tijuana killing

38:20

about 45,000 people in

38:22

San Diego up to, say,

38:25

the ocean side or whatever, if

38:28

that was the reason, man, who

38:30

people would be freaking out. My

38:33

friends in Texas, if

38:35

cartels started firing rockets over

38:38

the border, kitten towns, how

38:41

long do you think we would... No, one day

38:43

of that, no, one day of that, and

38:46

there's going to be a bunch of hurt feelings. So

38:49

it's both in, but again, we've

38:52

been able to help close to

38:54

5,000 kids who

38:57

have really suffered. And

39:00

did we go into Gaza?

39:02

Yeah. I mean, it was a

39:04

reconnaissance group. We were told

39:06

we were the only Americans that had been allowed

39:08

to go into Gaza. And,

39:12

you know, the most important thing I did there was pray.

39:15

Literally, at one point,

39:18

I'm standing silhouetted with

39:20

my hands up praying against

39:23

evil, because God... I

39:25

felt like God told me to. I got an

39:27

idea of guys hiding for cover, smartly. I would

39:29

have been there too, but God said, you stand

39:31

and pray. And these

39:34

guys, even some half-death teams are going,

39:36

what the hell? There's

39:38

a sniper. And there was. We

39:40

got video. You hear him? You

39:42

hear him? And I'm just praying. And

39:46

I hear the tracks of

39:49

a tank. And

39:52

this tank comes out of nowhere, turns its turret

39:54

and hits that building. And

39:57

I was like, that

39:59

worked. That was good and I'd

40:01

never put my hands down until I was

40:03

done. I remember when

40:05

we were rolling out, a friend of

40:07

mine, they're

40:10

just craziest warriors. His name is

40:13

Guy. He's like, wow,

40:16

wow. You guys' faith

40:19

has a lot of faith. And he's

40:21

like, why are you here? He's like,

40:23

God loves us. We love y'all.

40:25

He told us to come and help. So

40:28

there's still over 100 hostages in Gaza. And

40:36

if I had to roll the dice,

40:39

I'm hopeful, but I'm realistic.

40:43

It's all going to get way worse than it

40:45

has already with the

40:47

body count on both sides. And

40:51

I need people to know who are waving

40:53

Palestinian flags, if you're not at

40:55

the same time cursing

40:58

Hamas and standing against them,

41:00

then you're a Hamas sympathizer. Don't

41:03

wave a Palestinian flag without

41:05

equally saying Hamas is evil

41:08

because that's

41:12

the reality. And here

41:15

in America, I give young people a

41:17

pass because they're just so many idiots.

41:19

They don't protest about anything. So I'm

41:21

like, you're young and foolish. I give

41:23

you a pass. Those people who

41:25

are like a little more aggressive

41:27

in their stance, Ryan, I'm like, you're

41:30

a sympathizer. And I would

41:33

have agencies watch you because now

41:35

you're at risk for being radicalized

41:38

for Hamas's beliefs here in the US. And

41:41

then there's other people that just come right out and

41:43

support Hamas. I'm like, you

41:45

should be arrested or deported right now, which

41:48

brings me to this next point. People

41:52

had better get really ready

41:54

for what's going to happen in America. I'm

41:57

not a doomsdayer. I'm not a

41:59

conspiracy guy. But I have

42:01

lived, my family and I have

42:03

lived through the zombie apocalypse. We

42:05

still have a house in Iraq. I know what it's

42:08

like to live in a war zone, war

42:11

time era and all that. There

42:13

are far too many bad people that

42:16

have been allowed to get into the

42:18

US by our government.

42:21

Intentionally, there are

42:23

sales, because trust me, I have team members

42:26

that still have TS, big

42:29

cleansers and higher. And

42:31

that's how we stay alive on a lot of

42:34

stuff. That's why we're so effective,

42:36

our network. We don't

42:38

move on assumptions. We

42:40

base on what we do on facts. But

42:43

the facts are there are a lot of

42:45

people in the US right now that

42:48

are nefarious characters, in

42:50

sales, organized and structured

42:52

from multiple nations, multiple.

42:56

And they're waiting for the green light.

42:59

And the two things my friends

43:02

SF Fighters in Israel told

43:04

me, I said, how,

43:07

what would you say to this attack?

43:09

Two things, everyone said two things. We

43:11

were underprepared. We simply

43:14

were underprepared. We never thought

43:16

we, their plan,

43:18

their plan was like maybe eight

43:20

to nine Hamas guys get through.

43:23

So each community only had 10

43:25

rifles, 10 rifles

43:28

in the entire GATA community, 10 rifles

43:30

with 50 rounds each. That was in their

43:32

armory. And that's what

43:34

they were prepared for. They were overwhelmed by about

43:36

3000 guys on RPGs. And

43:39

I mean, they were outfitted. The

43:43

second thing, Ryan, was they

43:45

said we underestimated our

43:47

enemy, underestimated

43:50

the capabilities. And right now, Americans

43:53

by and large are lazy,

43:55

apathetic and ignorant. And

43:59

I'm saying a lot. large portion. There's

44:01

a core group of people now that

44:04

are standing up that

44:06

are you know and

44:08

I'm telling you that's especially

44:10

combat vets they're the last ones that

44:12

want to get involved because

44:15

they've seen it and

44:18

believe me it is a lot like Mel

44:20

Gibson in that movie the Patriot you

44:22

put your tools away and it's

44:24

like don't I don't want

44:27

to become that person again just

44:30

handle this and there's

44:32

so many good guys and

44:35

they don't want to be awakened because if they do I'm

44:39

telling you it doesn't

44:41

matter a title it doesn't matter these

44:44

men will lead and people will follow

44:46

them because if we're getting

44:48

attacked in multiple locations if they're

44:51

attacking our grid of food supplies

44:53

are dismissed leaders will

44:55

always rise up and all

44:58

we want is peace those

45:01

of us who have seen a lot of nonsense

45:03

overseas and for me it's like

45:05

I said I you know how many times

45:07

in the last 10 years all in my 50s

45:11

it's like that I want

45:13

peace man I'm a grandfather I want

45:16

peace I want my grandkids to live but

45:19

I'll tell you you know it's

45:21

I really believe

45:25

in my heart it's not if but when right

45:27

now Iran is attacked

45:29

is antagonizing the US

45:32

through all these attacks on basis what

45:34

they need G. Hollis believe

45:36

me I've got some of the best

45:39

counter terrorist experts on our

45:41

task force and in our ministry for

45:43

what we do and

45:46

that's why we've been very successful and

45:48

and and what we do because these are experienced

45:51

thick data men and women from

45:53

endless operators from

45:55

Delta unit to team

45:59

six and everybody in between but

46:01

I'll say this and

46:03

only say that to kind of because

46:06

that's what people but trust me other

46:08

teams SF Ranger assist all

46:11

they're all great guys who really did

46:13

the deal down to Marines who

46:15

are crayon eaters and you always know what you're gonna

46:17

get because they'll their head first and

46:19

they'll do the fighting but

46:22

it's very important for people to understand be prepared

46:24

so you're not paranoid understand

46:27

and know your neighbors sign out

46:29

in your neighborhood who's who's elderly

46:31

where the single moms get to

46:33

know them what

46:35

I can't stand or you

46:38

know that older version of preppers they're like

46:40

you know I got my I

46:42

got mine yeah I got my food and

46:45

my guns anybody turns around I'm a student I'm like no

46:47

you won't have you ever

46:49

shot somebody have you ever have you ever

46:51

had to kill somebody point-blank because they want

46:53

to get your you know

46:55

tuna fish so stop with

46:58

this stupid you're

47:00

you want to help people and

47:03

now for rotters come by if people

47:06

gonna move then some

47:08

people they need to get

47:10

their feelings hurt where that won't happen but

47:13

you got to do this based out of love

47:15

and some of the best guys I've ever served

47:18

with all my teams who

47:20

are legends in many circles trust

47:23

me they do their stuff out of

47:25

love and you

47:28

know some people are gifted with

47:30

extreme violence against evil and they

47:33

need to be respected and appreciated

47:37

because they're the ones you want pointing forward

47:39

just like a clear more mind point

47:41

them toward the enemy I'm rattling

47:43

on but you give me passion about that

47:45

stuff I care for

47:48

America and and I've seen and I

47:50

know what can happen and I don't

47:52

want it to I feel like I'm a

47:54

watchman on the wall and I got a shout it so

47:57

people understand and the In

48:00

my life and experience in history, it

48:02

doesn't lend itself to. Sensationalism.

48:05

Of conspiracy. It's just. Were.

48:08

Just very real and we keep don't

48:10

but we're don't. Litter,

48:13

I'm grateful for you and those other

48:15

men and women who are gifted with

48:17

extreme violence. Am I want to be

48:19

respectful of your time? I know you gotta a

48:21

deadline in the heart stops all money gets outta

48:23

here are we let the guys know where to

48:25

connect with you are we didn't talk about it much

48:27

but you get a book coming out this father's day

48:30

48:32

49:04

50:40

I'm telling you, between now and election. And.

50:43

Then the year after. Something's.

50:46

51:07

51:09

just take care of people. So yeah,

51:11

fallen victim or said com course I'm

51:13

on all the social media's if you

51:16

haven't heard my interview was shown Ryan.

51:19

52:09

American search is the best. Short.

52:11

Documentary film I can recommend all

52:13

right now. To. Give people

52:15

of faith a very clear understanding. Of

52:18

the comparison between Germany and what's

52:20

happening right now. Men of

52:22

for phase gimme increase You've gotta look

52:25

at the facts and go. Oh. Does.

52:27

Make sense. And then we

52:30

52:32

53:08

Let's get that girl still situated,

53:10

but as the bill for prayer.

53:13

And. I'm. And

53:15

I'm very intense at all. About.

53:17

What? You know me personally.

53:20

53:23

Mental. Capacity to spiritual.

53:26

A readiness and I think it's It's

53:35

53:39

I have that box. check the

53:41

53:43

Everything else. That. That is the

53:46

ultimate. Okay, here

53:48

we go and as no reason for people

53:50

not to be prepared for that. And

53:52

might say to some Christ Jesus.

53:55

And I'm I'm bold about it because

53:57

I just I believe it. And.

54:00

I said my played with Isis fighters. By

54:03

before they were. Don't.

54:05

A dirt nap. And and I was

54:07

as a. You. Want to know

54:09

how I know? They're. Likely so is

or hands Obama back. that's er muss. a.

54:14

And as a hope you find that

54:16

and Christ Jesus for years or the

54:19

of salvation So I you let me

54:21

closer This man. I know

54:23

to take for man to get out of his comfort

54:25

54:28

From that just struggling up

54:30

a d. In. A

54:32

day to day grind. Not. To

54:34

like as value or miss him. But.

54:38

You did something at some point in

54:40

your lifeline, where you said now. I

54:43

can do better than this. And you've

54:45

kept God first in your family. And

54:48

and you're helping other men. And.

54:51

That is a huge. Those

54:53

issues thing I. Add. Tell

54:55

55:12
