If you make seasonal and/or holiday products, now is the time to start planning and pinning them. It seems early to think about the holidays in September, but let's dig into:

• how soon should you pin
• how much to be pinning
• and what types of pins to create

What we are seeing in trends right now: Halloween weddings, up 132%!

We agree that your Halloween content needs to be pushed out by Mid Sept, maybe even sooner than that. The best way to think about it is around 45 days before an event or holiday.

When using Idea Pins, for example you have a sale in an Etsy shop, you could pin an Idea Pins about 2 weeks ahead to jump ahead of the competition. Idea Pins are prioritized on Pinterest and they are searchable. If using music, make is soft elevator type.

If you don't have new seasonal content, refresh your older seasonal content!

Fall and Thanksgiving decor, ideas, pumpkins, leaves, football all trending now!

Make sure to do your keyword research ahead of time before pinning your content. Pinterest is now giving you the most popular keyword phrases in the search bar. Use those given phrases if they apply!
