In Bonus Episode 01 Blaire and Holliston spend a little extra time chatting with Rob Cardinal and Dr. Phil Langill, our accomplished guests from Episode 01. In this bonus discussion we discuss and ponder the potential connection between rock cairns and astronomy and the skies.

Rob Cardinal (Kakatos’ina) is Blackfoot from Siksika First Nation. He is an astrophysicist and currently working as Science Advisor, Siksika Board of Education. Rob is the founder of First Light Initiative and co-founder of IndigeSTEAM, and serves as both an advisor and youth mentor for the Power to Choose summer camps.

Dr. Phil Langill teaches physics and astrophysics at the University of Calgary and is the Director of the Rothney Astrophysical Observatory. When he’s not looking up he enjoys the out of doors.
