February 13th, 2019, marks the 8th annual World Radio Day initiated by UNESCO. With regards to this year's theme of "Dialogue, Tolerance and Peace", this day celebrates radio as a powerful communication tool to suppress the spread of conflict and to unite communities together harmoniously.
Listen to three experienced radio broadcasting students from the Aga Khan University's Graduate School of Media and Communications discuss how radio can inform, transform and change people's lives in East Africa.
