0:39

Hi everybody. And welcome back to over

0:41

40 and child-free we're

0:44

on episode 20. Oh, my gosh.

0:46

I feel like it's a new mile marker for. When

0:53

you're driving down the highway. It could be similar.

0:55

It's like hidden mile 20. Yes.

0:59

The long destination I'm excited. Cause I,

1:01

for some reason still thought this was going to be, we're going to record

1:03

episode 19. So I'm way off. So this is like a fun

1:05

celebration. Nice. Should we

1:07

tell everybody what we thought we were

1:09

going to be able to do today, but

1:12

we need another week. So

1:15

Nicole finally got her soundboard.

1:18

Oh, I'm so excited for it even

1:20

has a voice changer. We won't tell you

1:22

what kind of voices, but it can change your voice.

1:25

And we were going to play around with it on

1:27

today's podcast. However,

1:30

I can't figure out how to hook it up. So we need

1:32

to do a little more research. Let's see,

1:35

I know you guys are sad, but don't you worry. We will

1:37

figure it out and we will have

1:39

a soundboard soon. In the meantime,

1:41

we can just make our own sounds. Glug, glug,

1:43

glug. She said,

1:46

how are you this fine. It

1:48

is a Sunday afternoon that we're recording.

1:51

It is I'm doing okay. It was actually

1:53

a lazy morning. I was up early.

1:55

Ready to go. Then I took a nap. And now

1:58

I have my Starbucks in hand and now I'm ready

2:00

to go for the rest of the afternoon. I'm going to try to be productive

2:03

today. Yeah. So

2:05

I started off day eight of my eyeshadow

2:07

challenge. So if anybody's following me on

2:09

social media I have decided

2:12

that I'm obsessed with makeup and I want to learn

2:14

how to put it on in a way that

2:16

does not make me look crazy or

2:18

like wearing too much makeup. I want to have that natural

2:21

look. So I decided as of July 1st,

2:23

I was going to. Or maybe the second

2:26

I was going to put it on every single day

2:28

until I, no matter what until

2:30

it, so I have no other makeup on, except for my eye makeup

2:32

until I learned how to do it. So I've been watching.

2:35

YouTube videos, Tik TOK videos

2:37

on the how to like the basics of putting it on.

2:39

So I think it's getting better. Some days are better than

2:41

others. Some days not so good today. I think it's a good

2:44

day. It's good. It's lighter today.

2:46

I've been in the past couple of days. Yeah, so today's

2:48

a little bit. I also did what mine. I was a couple of times, but

2:51

I like, it's like, it's pretty oranges and things,

2:53

but anyway, I've been posting pictures on my personal

2:55

page. So if you're not my friend come over and be my friend.

2:58

Or I'll try to remember to post. Some

3:00

of the updates in the group. But if you're out

3:02

there and you're trying to make up, or you want to

3:04

try, make up, follow along with me, play along with me

3:06

and we can learn, we can learn together. I can't wait

3:09

for you to go into the blue palette. Oh, I

3:11

can't wait. Well, I'm going to, it's going to be

3:13

so exciting, but I have to be, I want to be better at that

3:15

because I don't want to look like I have a black and blue eye,

3:17

which we all know will be what happens when

3:19

I go to put that on. Well, when you start the blue.

3:22

I do have the blue, gray, eyeliner,

3:24

if you want to start getting crazy. Oh, you do.

3:26

That's right. I will. I will have to borrow that from you now. Yeah,

3:29

I haven't even touched eyeliner. I do mascara

3:31

because I'm just trying to get used to being on my

3:33

eye, which is flat spine for me. And

3:36

then I'll move on to other parts of my face. So

3:38

I want to say like, is this part of like midlife crisis?

3:40

And I'll just all of a sudden deciding that I

3:43

want to put makeup on, but I think. I've always,

3:45

I've worn makeup. Like in my twenties, I wore makeup

3:48

like I have in the past, but I think I just never

3:50

felt confident enough, like, you know, being overweight

3:52

and not really liking it. And now I've lost

3:55

a lot of weight. I'm feeling more comfortable in my skin.

3:57

And I think that's really what's springing this out

3:59

because I do like to wear it. So I

4:01

am excited. So I started with my eyes.

4:03

I'm working my way through my face.

4:06

Well, and the nice thing is, is you can totally

4:08

focus on your eyes because you don't need

4:10

really the rest of your face because

4:12

it's summertime and you're gonna be tan. That's right.

4:15

And you don't need as much makeup at that police. So

4:17

I'm going to start there. So it's good. Even Mike's been telling

4:19

me, he'll check on my eyes everyday. He says, let me see,

4:21

let me see your eyes. So, so far, so good.

4:24

What else? Oh, I I did a grownup thing,

4:26

so I don't, you guys probably followed us before we

4:28

had shared a Costco membership. We

4:30

went in, we got one, but then. Mike decided

4:33

that he wanted, we were by a Costco and Mike decided

4:35

he really wanted these. Stay.

4:38

I know what are they called? Jerky jerky,

4:41

the state jerky. And I said, well, Tracy's the

4:43

one with the membership. Like we have to go with her because

4:45

they're really striking. And plus I didn't have a card or anything.

4:47

So we decided we were going to get our own. So

4:49

we did like an adult thing and got a Costco membership.

4:51

And now I feel super adult, but. I

4:54

am like, so they have such good

4:56

food. Like. We got like five of their pre-made

4:58

dinners. The one we brought was what

5:00

we've. One of the ones we brought over last night with us was

5:02

a stuffed pepper. So

5:04

good. We then Angela

5:07

is that was good. We've done the tacos street tacos.

5:09

That was good. And then Mike and I got Ravioli

5:12

base. Or lasagna. Or something

5:14

like that. I'm Italian. Something that was pretty good too.

5:16

It tasted just like eating lasagna, even

5:18

though I think it was or ravioli, it was suppose to be ravioli

5:20

lasagna. I'm not really sure I could be making

5:23

all of these names off. It was some sort of pasta with

5:25

some cheese and it was tasty. That's all you need.

5:27

Yeah. So we'd definitely do that in the future. So

5:29

if you guys are out there and you shop at Costco, tell

5:31

me like all the things that I need to get at Costco,

5:33

because people were off. They do have it.

5:35

There's so much there and everybody was telling me different

5:37

things, but that's how I got onto the street tacos

5:40

with somebody said that we should have them. I hope

5:42

that this does not mean I'm going to lose my

5:44

Costco partner in crime. Oh no, we're going to

5:46

only go. We're really only going to go together. Michael

5:48

just now my can just tell me to get that now that

5:50

I know. He wants it all stuck up for them. I'm not going

5:52

to lie. Next time we go, I will be getting that

5:54

as well because I tried yours. If

5:56

you were really good. Mike almost

5:58

didn't get them because we were going to eat them all on the way home.

6:00

I'm not going to lie. I did think they were good. Especially

6:03

after taking a bite of the sample thing in the store,

6:05

I was kinda like now, It

6:07

was not good enough. This definitely made

6:09

up for it. So I would tell you the name of

6:11

it. Guys, but I don't remember. It's just some sort

6:13

of state. And

6:16

it's delicious. So we did that.

6:19

We also will be watched a really funny movie this weekend.

6:21

The Outlaws. In

6:24

my newsfeed on Facebook. Yeah.

6:26

It was a fun, just like chill movie to watch.

6:28

I li I got a good laugh. Since

6:31

you guys should check that out. I am also,

6:34

I'm making my list for prime day,

6:37

which may or may not. Seeing

6:39

what makeup's going to be on sale there. You. Because

6:42

that's my obsession. I'm going to do pre

6:44

prime day. Because I got

6:46

an email from Amazon

6:48

that their Firesticks are on sale.

6:51

Or prime. Oh, so

6:54

I've been wanting to get a fire stick for my

6:56

second TV in my bedroom, because right

6:58

now I can basically only watch

7:00

like, Netflix and prime. So

7:04

like in football season when I get another

7:06

streaming device to not streaming device,

7:08

but another streaming service service.

7:11

Thank you. To watch football. I can't

7:13

watch it in my room because. The

7:15

TV that I have is very particular

7:17

on what apps I can download and what I can't,

7:19

which is why I ended up getting the Firestick for the

7:22

living room. And

7:24

now I want one for the bedroom so I can watch me some

7:26

football. In the bedroom? Well, it's

7:28

a perfect time to get us for prime day.

7:30

I'm putting on a TV on my list because we are

7:33

going to, so we have a huge ass TV

7:35

in our living room, but we're going to actually downsize

7:37

that TV and move the big TV to our bedroom.

7:40

Okay. And then we're going to get a slightly

7:42

smaller one so I can hang it up on the fireplace.

7:45

Just so that our. Just so that our layout can be better.

7:47

So I'm going to hope that Amazon has a good.

7:50

Deal on, TV's kind of like black Friday.

7:52

So if you guys are looking for anything in particular, he got a Sheriff's

7:54

tell us what we need to go and see. I'm always open

7:57

to whatever people are shopping for. And I think

7:59

it starts. Let's see Tuesday,

8:01

right? Yeah. So as you

8:03

guys are listening to this podcast, it is prime days.

8:06

Right now, tell us right now. And

8:09

then again, when I in our group, because we

8:11

might post some. Oh, yes. Stuff.

8:14

Yeah, we'll get, we'll send you. We'll send you the good

8:17

stuff. We'll find some good deals. Post,

8:19

what we find in the group. And

8:21

then the last thing I did this week was, I don't know if

8:24

you've heard, but there's a new social media. Oh,

8:28

More people talking about it. Called

8:30

threads. So it's Facebook's

8:32

version of Twitter. So

8:34

I've, I've been trying to figure it out though. There's nothing

8:37

really to figure out. You basically just type in.

8:40

You're whatever you want to type in, and you can have conversations

8:42

from there. It's literally just the red.

8:45

So there's nothing else on there so far. So

8:47

it just looks like a thread. Is it easy

8:49

to find people. Yeah. Easy

8:51

to find people. I mean, at this point I'm using

8:53

adjust to. Whoever pops

8:55

up on, I guess, whatever they're calling their feed. And

8:58

seeing who I connect with. Out there and have conversations

9:00

and trying to build a following. That

9:02

way. So we are on there.

9:05

Under Tracy and Nicole. And we're like,

9:08

yes, we are. So it's

9:10

not, if you're on threads and you want to come over,

9:12

come and hang out with us. Start. Some conversations

9:14

with us so we can figure out how to use it and bring some

9:16

other people into the conversation. I guess

9:19

I got to get on. Yeah, you do. You do go right

9:21

through our Instagram. Just what I need. One more social

9:23

media sites. I feel like that's what everybody's

9:25

saying. Just one more social media site,

9:27

but I only use Twitter for

9:29

like, get my news or fun news or see what

9:32

crazy people are saying once. News happens.

9:34

So I feel like, I don't know. It's

9:36

not really. It's not really taking over.

9:39

Yeah. I usually

9:41

go to Twitter. If there's like a funny hashtag

9:43

going. Yes. People are very witty

9:46

and fast with their wittiness. They are.

9:48

But I have noticed that I feel like

9:50

a lot of that wittiness has gone over

9:52

to. Tik TOK. Yeah,

9:55

because the comments on Tik TOK are.

9:58

Hilarious. Yeah. There's occasions,

10:00

depending on the post. I usually hate to read The

10:02

third, the comments, but there are some where, you

10:04

know, you just have to, because. You're

10:07

going to be crying. Of laughter because some people

10:09

are so funny. I do enjoy the

10:11

Thomas. Yes. So, so that's

10:13

my week and I'm sure everybody that's, everybody's saying

10:15

that just what we need another social media, but hopefully

10:18

it'll be a fun one that will, it's pretty

10:20

simple. So head over there, find us, follow

10:22

us. We'll follow you back. We will. And

10:25

I've. Yeah, that's all I got. How about you? How was your week? So

10:28

I have had the last two weeks off

10:31

from work. I had one week of

10:33

time off like PTO and then our

10:35

school was closed. Last week.

10:38

For the 4th of July. Which was nice.

10:40

That was the first year. Nice. So back

10:42

to back weeks it was great

10:45

because of course it working. And

10:47

I got to sleep in a lot. Well, I

10:49

should preface that with. I

10:51

would get up at like 4 30, 5 o'clock with

10:53

the princess and then be able to go back

10:56

to sleep. And then. At

10:59

10, 10 30. So that's

11:01

going to be a rude awakening

11:03

tomorrow. But I'm a little upset

11:06

because. It rained

11:08

most of the two weeks. Really. Going

11:11

away anytime soon. So

11:13

I had two weeks that I thought I was

11:15

going to spend at the pool. And I think we were there like three

11:18

days. So that was a bummer.

11:20

However, those three days I

11:22

am working on my tan. Yeah. I

11:24

do love being tan. Yes.

11:26

Yes you do. I do. Being tan as well. And those three

11:28

days gave a really great and so.

11:32

Yeah. So I'm hoping I'll

11:34

have Fridays off. So fingers

11:36

crossed that Friday and the weekends

11:38

are nice. I know we need the rain.

11:40

I know we had no rain, but I feel like we've made

11:43

up for it at this point. I mean it rains every

11:45

freaking day. Let's just go. Maybe even

11:47

every other day, let's have some sign a couple of days in a row,

11:49

then you can have some rain, like give it, just give us some sun

11:51

and let us go to the pool. I just want the pool. I

11:54

want the pain. So you don't need a voice

11:56

check? No. It was perfect.

11:58

It was scary. It was, I know everybody's

12:00

shaken out. I don't know if I can listen to this. One

12:03

thing I was supposed to over my

12:05

break. Was get myself

12:08

back into a good

12:10

routine of eating healthier

12:13

and working out. I thought, oh, this is great.

12:15

I'll have, you know, extra time. And.

12:18

You know, no excuses to not work out.

12:21

Well, I failed miserably. But

12:24

I actually think it's because I didn't

12:27

have a schedule. So,

12:29

you know, I would lay in bed until we had

12:31

plans. And then I didn't really

12:33

plan out. Well, I should've gotten up an hour

12:36

earlier, worked out and then showered and

12:38

did whatever we were going to do. So

12:40

now my goal is no excuses.

12:44

I have a set schedule. The

12:46

big problem for me is going to be getting

12:48

my workouts in because I'm a morning

12:50

workout person. And.

12:53

I'm going to be starting 10 hour days

12:56

tomorrow. So yes, I took two weeks off

12:58

and I'm diving right back into a tunnel. So

13:01

I'll start my day at six. Oh hell

13:03

no. Which would actually mean I would need

13:06

to work out at like four 30 and.

13:08

Who in their right mind does that? I

13:10

can support that. Yeah. So

13:13

then that leads me to, I'm going to have to

13:15

work out after work at like four

13:17

30. Which is hard because

13:19

you're exhausted from a 10 hour day. But

13:23

what I've told myself. Because

13:26

normally I'm like, no it's time for me to get on the couch

13:28

and binge my shows. But then sometimes

13:31

like from four o'clock until bedtime.

13:34

It's like, oh my God, is it bedtime already? So

13:36

really it's not going to kill me

13:39

to take an extra hour. To

13:41

work out. Jump in the shower.

13:44

And have one less show that I've been. Yes.

13:48

Yes, you really need to you've. A lot of

13:50

TV. I do. I do. So

13:52

I really can't use that as

13:54

my excuse of. And

13:56

how I worked

13:59

all day. Now, I just need to watch TV

14:01

while I can miss one hour. You can

14:03

this one hour of TV. So,

14:05

yes. And then the other thing I need to do

14:08

is I'm going to go to grocery stores

14:10

because I love doing

14:12

like shakes and bars through the time. However,

14:15

it gets very expensive. So

14:17

I'm really trying to take a look

14:19

at my finances and figure out

14:21

where to tweak things. So

14:24

I'm going to be trying to eat healthy,

14:26

which is actually helpful

14:28

when you're trying to save money, because it can be very

14:30

expensive to eat healthy, but

14:32

I'm going to go to different places and

14:35

see kind of where. Best

14:37

prices are. And you know, if I

14:40

have to shop at two or three different places, then

14:42

that's what I'll do. Cause I was talking to someone today

14:44

and they said Aldi is really good

14:46

for like fruits and vegetables. Cause. When

14:48

you go into like giant. Yep. It's

14:50

so expensive. But so they said,

14:52

so, you know, if I have to go there for that,

14:55

It's not that far. And we have

14:57

that other store. Versary

15:00

outlet? No. It went

15:02

in. The shopping

15:04

center where bed bath and beyond is it's

15:07

a Lidl. It's like a

15:09

competitor of all the right. Something like that.

15:11

Yeah. So then I was like, well, those two are actually

15:13

close to each other. So I can hit at both

15:15

of them and see who has better for what. I

15:20

mean, that's a good goal and you have to do it. Plus everybody has to do

15:22

because Todd, the grocery prices are,

15:24

I mean, everything's going up. Groceries are super

15:26

expensive. So. I

15:29

don't know I'm going to, I'm going to make a list of things

15:32

that I like to eat. And

15:34

then how I can work that into

15:36

my day. To do it healthily.

15:39

Okay. So there could be a lot of egg wraps

15:41

in my future. I grabbed

15:44

some red peppers. Yeah. I never

15:46

had peppers will be on that list. I haven't even been

15:48

eating my red peppers. I

15:50

know I'm out of control. That

15:52

is you need to get back to the red pepper. If there was a

15:54

day that you didn't eat a red pepper or six,

15:56

it'd be a weird day. I know that used

15:58

to be my day and I need to get back in it. There

16:00

are red peppers in my fridge that are sitting

16:02

there for two weeks now. Oh my gosh. I. That

16:05

is crazy. I need to do, but I did

16:07

get shakes. To drink throughout the day. Cause I want

16:10

to do that. Yeah, but mostly it's not

16:12

that I even beat in anything else. I'm

16:14

like, I'll drink some water. I'm like, oh, that's good. Or I have caught

16:16

like right now, I've Starbucks. Peter croissant

16:19

croissant. So

16:22

that's the other thing. And then

16:24

the lovely newness. That has

16:27

started back up again as peri-menopause.

16:29

Oh, convinced we're back there again.

16:31

It loves to hit me in the summertime.

16:34

You know, when you really want to be feeling

16:37

like you're already a hundred degrees.

16:39

And then walk out into 90.

16:42

Humid weather. That's amazing.

16:44

I think that it really knows your body really knows. You just

16:46

want to be extra hot. Yes. It's like, here

16:49

you go. Be really hot. So

16:52

I have been sweating all the time.

16:55

And at night I'm noticing that's

16:57

where I first started to notice it was sleeping. Because

17:00

I always sleep. So since

17:02

I've gotten Winnie. One

17:04

of my Winnie isms. I have

17:06

always slept in. A

17:08

t-shirt and leggings. Okay. So

17:10

I used to only sleep in a t-shirt. When I got Winnie,

17:13

I started wearing leggings all the time because

17:15

she would crawl. The blanket and

17:17

I just felt weird, like,

17:20

Can I get a t-shirt and undies and she's like up

17:22

against my leg. And then of course,

17:24

you know, one of my worst fears is ticks. So

17:27

I was like, I'm just going to wear leggings all the time.

17:29

And then that way I felt like I had a protection

17:31

layer. Well, because

17:34

I'm so hot now. And I have a fan blowing

17:36

on me. I have my air down lower

17:38

than I've ever had it before. I

17:40

was like, okay, we gotta ditch the. The leggings.

17:43

And the one thing is a, she now sleeps

17:45

more than bottom of the bed. So I

17:47

feel like we have a good comfort zone. To

17:49

make t-shirts. So what made

17:52

me laugh? Was. You

17:54

know, I've been talking to some of my friends at work.

17:57

And we all start back tomorrow because we've

17:59

all had this leak off and we're all doing

18:01

10 hour days and starting at six. And everyone's

18:04

like, I'm just going to be in my PJ's

18:06

all week. I'm going to be in my PJ's all week.

18:08

So then I was like, huh. Well, if I'm

18:10

in my PJ's all week, am I supposed to just sit

18:12

in my underwear? I mean, nobody

18:14

can see you. I know. And you

18:16

know, I'm, I'm virtual people.

18:18

I got. Going into the office.

18:21

Just a t-shirt and some underwear haven't been amazing.

18:24

So no one would know if I was on a zoom call.

18:27

But weird, you know, I'm not like that.

18:30

I'm not the person that will just like lay

18:32

around in. Monday's

18:34

no, no, never happen. Neither

18:37

have. Yeah. So

18:39

that all being said,

18:42

I happen to be looking up.

18:45

Ideas for what we were going to talk about

18:47

this month. And going

18:50

back to work. During

18:52

national nude week. Perfect.

18:56

Nude recreation week as

18:59

well. I don't know, they call it nude recreation

19:01

week slash national nude. Well,

19:04

national new two weeks sounds like a perfect time

19:06

for you to go to work nude. So, I

19:08

mean, If, you

19:10

know, if you sleep well, commando and you're

19:12

going to be in your PJ's all day. There

19:15

you go. I. But this is like giving you permission

19:17

to be nude. Is it. Giving

19:19

me permission. I have never

19:22

been a person. To

19:24

just walk around. Like

19:28

if I get out of the shower and I have to go into the second bedroom

19:30

to get something to wear. I'll run

19:32

across the hallway and get something in the nude.

19:34

But like, I know people that just.

19:38

Love to live by themselves because

19:40

they like to just walk around their house

19:42

naked. I've never been

19:44

that person. No, no, no.

19:47

I don't even like to sleep in the news. No

19:49

one at my aunt used to sleep in the nude. Really?

19:52

Yeah. Should I know why, you know,

19:54

that. Cause you, cause you going

19:56

to go in a room, she'd be like, ah, You know,

19:59

give you the warning. I didn't have the traumatic

20:01

open the door. No,

20:03

no. She used

20:05

to stay at her house all the time. Cause she was my favorite in

20:07

the whole entire world. So. Right. Yeah. So,

20:10

yeah, so I went down a rabbit hole.

20:13

Learning about. Nude recreation

20:16

week slash national nude

20:18

week. And it actually started.

20:21

So. What

20:23

they're saying is nude beaches became

20:25

popular. In America

20:27

in the 1960s and 1970s.

20:30

And they're saying that was, you know, the hippie movement,

20:32

which is why that happened. But what

20:34

they said was it was

20:37

truly visited. More by

20:39

regular members of society. Then

20:41

actually like the free loving hippie.

20:44

Oh, that's funny. Hey get anyway. So

20:46

then in 1974,

20:50

Cape Cod national seashore.

20:52

Banned nude sunbathing

20:55

on Cape Cod's beaches. Why

20:57

would you do such a thing Cape Cod? Well, I'll tell

20:59

you what this guy named Lee. Who

21:01

was a local activist, got pissed.

21:04

And he started a movement. And

21:06

he got thousands of nudists

21:08

to come and protests. So

21:10

he was mad that they wouldn't let them be

21:12

nude on the beach anymore. To be nude. Nudists

21:15

love it. I mean, And I say, go

21:18

for it. I've just never been comfortable

21:20

with just being in, in the buff.

21:23

So yeah, so it started as

21:25

nude weekend. But

21:28

then they. Turned

21:30

it into nude recreation

21:33

week in 1992. Well,

21:37

Recreation. What do you do exactly? What

21:39

do you do? I know there's some things that you probably

21:41

should not do. While

21:44

you are recreating naked. That

21:46

is true. That is true. Although

21:49

I'm wondering, do people need to be told

21:51

like that? Like there was a whole thing about

21:54

lists of things to not do while.

21:56

And you'd like, I don't know, using

21:58

a Power tool or drills or nails

22:01

gone. Sounds like common sense that you just shouldn't

22:03

do that naked. It does, to me.

22:05

Probably cooking bacon. Oh,

22:07

not a good idea. Good idea. I

22:10

do like that. It does suggest do not

22:12

exercise while naked now.

22:15

I can't imagine, like, again, nudists

22:18

are very free. They want to do a lot of these

22:20

things, but there's certain activities

22:22

that you shouldn't be jumping up and down

22:25

and I get to see your naked body. I

22:27

mean. I mean good for them for having the confidence.

22:30

I don't know, but I feel like that would hurt.

22:32

Yeah. That would hurt. Like your boobs.

22:34

But if you're being too big and they're smacking in the face, well,

22:36

Well, you've seen those Mimi's, especially

22:39

when Dolly Parton was big, it was like, oh, Dolly

22:41

went out running and. Yeah. He has two black eyes

22:43

and that's. That'd be real life if you're actually

22:45

working out. And I would think. For a man.

22:48

It would be equally as uncomfortable.

22:51

And I just, yeah, I was trying to figure out

22:53

like, why people need to be told not to do these things.

22:55

Like just seems like common sense. Like if you're going to

22:57

be naked. Yeah. I don't

22:59

know people. Well, you

23:01

have to also understand some of the warnings

23:03

that we have on bottles. Like, you

23:06

know, tide pods, please don't eat these.

23:08

That's true. So, you know, some people

23:11

need some guidance. Okay.

23:13

So how about did they, was there like things they

23:15

recommend that. You should do.

23:19

They did give some ideas

23:22

on how to celebrate. So

23:24

one is celebrate in your pool.

23:26

So you can't go to a beach, just stripped

23:29

down and go skinny dipping and your swimming pool or

23:31

jacuzzi. Okay. Have you ever gone skinny dipping?

23:34

I have not. I have gone skinny dipping. That's

23:36

probably is. If anything,

23:39

I would only notice I've ever gotten. I would only go

23:41

skinny dipping in a pool. So you have to find

23:43

if I were to actually do that, but

23:45

not in like an ocean or a lake

23:47

or anything. Oh, yeah. Oh like

23:49

any sort of other body of water. Koozie

23:52

I'm down with that. But other than that, Just

23:54

check it. It says celebrate inside

23:57

your house. So if you aren't comfortable being

23:59

naked in public, considering not wearing

24:01

clothes at home. You can spend the

24:03

entire day in your birthday suit. Oh,

24:06

I should have been recording this podcast naked. Well,

24:09

you're not in your home alone.

24:11

But that's how I am comfortable around you. That

24:14

is true. And then another way

24:17

to celebrate is to attend

24:19

a nudist party. Oh, so

24:21

apparently there are nudist parties

24:23

and it's a great way to meet other nudists

24:26

and be comfortable in your own skin. I just

24:28

want to know how like, those conversations start,

24:30

like, especially the nudists or even the swingers

24:32

ones. All

24:34

these conversations. So, Hey, do you know any of them? Do you know,

24:37

any nudist parties coming up? Is that like,

24:39

how, how do you mean these people? Well, and I

24:41

just learned a few years ago about

24:43

the whole pineapple thing about if you have. The

24:45

house and it's like upside down, you're into

24:47

it. Maybe we don't know when there's

24:49

a nudist symbol. Oh, well, what

24:51

if I'm doing something to my home? Not.

24:54

Yeah, because I told you

24:56

be careful with your pineapples. I know I do have to watch

24:58

my pineapples. I love pineapple decor. I have lots

25:00

of pineapples. None of them are upside down. I'm trying to think

25:02

of what I have. I have American flags out right now. I

25:04

don't know that that screams nudity in

25:06

any later. No, I definitely do so. So I think I'm

25:08

safe for now. But. I

25:11

did find some fun. Facts

25:13

about nudity. Oh, yeah. All

25:15

right. Do you share, do you share. So sleeping

25:17

naked is quite common in England.

25:21

Oh, the Brits. 30%

25:23

of people in the United Kingdom sleep

25:25

naked compared to 12% of

25:27

people in the us. Wow. That is a

25:30

big jump. Yeah, I thought that was kind of low for

25:32

the U S I don't know why. Yeah, I thought

25:34

maybe we have more nudists but I feel like

25:36

maybe we do, they just didn't want to share. Good

25:39

for England. Shopping

25:41

in the nude is a thing. So 11%

25:44

of online shoppers say they shop in

25:46

the news. Okay. But question is, were they already

25:48

nude or did they get on dresses to go shopping?

25:52

You're like, hold on. I want to quit shopping. Let

25:54

me take my clothes off. Like when I, when

25:56

I shop online, like I know I'm going

25:58

to do it, but like, it's not like I planned for it to. There

26:00

are these people planning this shopping, and then

26:02

they very good question. Are they doing it on their phone?

26:04

Are they on the computer? I mean, there's been

26:07

times I've had to get naked

26:09

while I'm shopping. If I need to measure

26:11

myself. But then I

26:13

don't stay that way. And do they

26:15

only time they shop is when they're naked.

26:17

Can they not all do any online shopping?

26:20

If they're not naked? That's a good question. Are

26:22

they only shopping for clothes? Or

26:25

can you shop for clothes if you're naked? I mean,

26:27

I feel like that's a contradicting. Do

26:29

they have a lot of clothes? If they're nudists. Well,

26:33

I guess. It depends on what they do outside

26:35

of their nudity. Untrue. That's

26:38

true. There's a lot of, a lot of questions.

26:40

How many questions there would be about. The likes

26:42

to be nude. I think I'm going to blow your mind with

26:44

the next fact. Okay, I'm ready. You're ready.

26:47

The Olympics used to be nudist.

26:51

In ancient Greece athletes

26:53

would compete. Stark naked

26:55

in the Olympic games. I mean, that's definitely

26:58

an added element of. Right

27:00

there. I mean, Nate. I'm a

27:03

swimmer. But I don't

27:05

know, I'd be a little nervous playing some other. Do

27:09

they like, did they do the G what is it when they run

27:11

out each other? Was that an Olympic sport? Oh,

27:15

Maybe I'm no fencing is high. Yeah. I

27:17

think I'm mixing gladiator games with the Olympics

27:19

from back then. I mean, I don't know what the Olympics

27:22

looks like. Cameron, how. There's definitely

27:24

running, which we're back to the physical activity.

27:26

Apparently nobody told them what

27:28

not to do naked. Apparently. So

27:31

I'm glad you seemed uncomfortable. I'm glad

27:33

we've, you know, Learned in our ways. I'm

27:35

glad now we just have to tell people don't do that.

27:39

And then I have one. Oh, okay. The

27:41

last fact is streaking

27:44

isn't old practice. The

27:46

first recorded act of public

27:48

streaking was 1799.

27:52

Again, Why

27:55

do they want to do this? So I feel

27:57

like was there a time. That.

28:01

People just didn't like, if you look

28:03

at different countries, Like

28:05

women. We'll walk around topless. Part

28:08

of the culture. So, was

28:10

there a point in time

28:12

where people were

28:14

just more naked naturally

28:17

because. I'm

28:20

sure. Early thing. So.

28:23

I mean was the first. Recorded

28:25

active public streaking, just a guy

28:27

like who was in his natural

28:31

being of no clothes who was like running away

28:33

from his wife and all of a sudden they're like, oh my God. T

28:37

99 seems pretty late though, to be

28:39

just somebody for the first time that somebody running

28:41

naked. And then they do it on

28:43

purpose. And why did they want to do it right?

28:46

So that's what I'm wondering. Are they just running

28:49

for another purpose? But

28:51

they were. Naked.

28:55

And somebody was like, oh my God, look he's streaking.

28:57

And it just became a thing. But what.

29:00

Well how'd they know what streaking

29:02

was. They name it, they just named it. I'm

29:04

just rewriting history. Okay, that's

29:07

fine. I'm going to go with you. I want to go with your story. Cause I

29:09

think that sounds great. I'm with some

29:11

guy got in trouble from his wife. Was

29:14

running away and she was running after

29:16

him screaming and they were both streaking

29:18

cause they just didn't wear clothes back then. I'm

29:21

going with it. You guys got that out there and make sure

29:23

if you get into a conversation about streaking now,

29:25

you know exactly why and how it started. Google

29:28

it just take my word. Yes, definitely.

29:31

It's his word for this is now fast.

29:34

I'm going to go on with a heat. Right. And

29:37

update it. Update streaking. Let

29:40

every, by. Everybody should know this.

29:44

Why not. Are you surprised at the number

29:46

of nude, friendly places that

29:48

there are in the U S. And

29:50

some of them I'm actually surprised at where they

29:52

are. I agree with that.

29:55

So for example, there

29:57

was One in Idaho. Oh

30:01

because of its. Let's say in their Clearwater

30:03

national forest, his favorite spot because it

30:05

was clothing, optional, warm water pools.

30:08

But I feel like just in Idaho, that just seems

30:10

like, I don't know. Yeah. In Kansas,

30:14

again, Kansas, just doesn't Prairie Haven

30:16

and Scranton, Kansas just doesn't scream out

30:18

where nudists would be hanging out. And

30:20

then also. Martha's vineyard

30:23

with their optional clothing, optional

30:25

beaches. That surprised me too. I feel like

30:27

they'd be like, no, we must have your

30:29

clothes on all times. Do

30:31

you think that if you and Mike

30:33

went on a trip somewhere like

30:35

a. Caribbean island. That was beautiful.

30:38

And there was a nudist beach. Do

30:41

you think you would try it? Nope. Nope. Do you

30:43

think Mike would try it? Nope. Nope. Yeah. I

30:45

think if there's going to be a reason, like if either of us, neither

30:47

of us were going to try to be Mike. He would

30:49

be like, absolutely not. I remember

30:51

a friend of mine and her husband were on a trip. I

30:53

don't know if it was their honeymoon or just a trip

30:55

that they were on and there was a new

30:57

to speech. Around. And

31:00

it took her a while, but she talked him into

31:03

going. I think she was like giving

31:05

him the false hope of there's going to be so many

31:07

gorgeous. Over the hair. You know,

31:09

you like looking at them in their bikini, you

31:11

get to see them Newt. Now. And him

31:13

telling the story is amazing because you

31:15

had to go like up this hill and then

31:18

come across and down. And

31:20

he's like, Susie hit the top of that hill and

31:22

start walking down. All balls.

31:26

I mean, that's just what I imagined. Not like.

31:30

People just walking around me. It is

31:32

usually not a bunch of hot people. So,

31:35

no, I don't think so. How about you? Would you go to.

31:37

I don't think so. I just, I

31:40

number one, I would

31:42

never want to be on a beach naked because

31:44

I already hate where the sand gets with

31:46

a bathing suit on. But

31:48

then I know like places like hedonism

31:50

it's. Optional clothing. When

31:53

I just can't imagine like

31:55

sliding up to the bar and getting on the

31:57

stool. That somebody else

32:00

naked just sat on. And now my

32:02

naked butt is going to be on there. That's

32:04

skeeves me out. That's gross. No.

32:08

Well, I don't. I

32:10

don't like penises. I think they're ugly.

32:12

I don't care what anyone's like. I do not need to see a penis.

32:14

I think a guy like with shorts on no

32:16

shirt on, I think that's sexy. That's

32:18

hot. I think Beto speakers.

32:22

I think penises are just gross. Like there's nothing attractive

32:24

about that. So I do not need to see a whole beach full

32:27

of. Penises.

32:29

Good point and I could. And the same with girl,

32:32

like with vaginas, I know. I mean,

32:34

I'm not anti one or the other, but

32:36

like I just don't need to see them and think. The thing

32:38

is, is you would really have to work to see a vagina.

32:41

I'm not so. But I, yeah. For

32:43

me, like I already think. Those

32:45

are gross. And so, yeah, you really don't

32:47

like the peanut. I'm just letting everybody, I don't like

32:50

Dina send her lots of pictures

32:52

of penis. Oh, terrible,

32:55

terrible things. No seriously.

32:58

Rephrase that they're terrible things to look at. Yeah,

33:01

they are terrible things to look at. And I will tell you if

33:03

anybody knows this. You guys haven't heard this story

33:05

from me, so I'll share real quick. So my

33:07

cousin and we're going to a show like we had a

33:09

cousins night out, all the cousins were going to go and

33:11

decided they were going to go see this show

33:14

called. Oh, no, I don't

33:16

remember now, penis something. And

33:18

it was these two gadgetry. Peanut-free of

33:20

the penis. Thank you. It was these two

33:22

dudes on stage making puppets out of their

33:24

penises. You used to be on HBO.

33:26

Yeah, That is literally the absolute worst

33:28

show ever like i think my mom

33:30

and i sat there and we were the only two of our cousins

33:33

that were not amused at all by this I guy had

33:35

no immune and i was like First

33:37

of all second

33:39

of all And third of

33:42

all out Because

33:44

they put their penises in such a weird

33:47

There's like hamburgers and hotdogs and i don't

33:49

know it. It was disgusting it. is not a thing i

33:51

am hopeful that nobody else has to ever

33:53

watch that again So

33:55

thank you it was weird That

33:58

used to be on hbo back

34:00

in there There What

34:02

was the name of that show Was

34:05

it real sex Oh

34:07

my god and there was like 56 episodes

34:10

or seasons of it Yeah. I

34:12

just remember they would have taxi cab confessions

34:16

Yes But every once in awhile

34:18

i think when i would watch that it

34:20

would either go into the puppet penis

34:22

guys or they would be on before so i have

34:24

seen them I'm like questions

34:26

They're also what. How did you discover

34:29

that you could do this why did you discover that you

34:31

could do this and then even if you did discover that

34:33

you could do this like what would make you want to do that

34:35

all the time Like is now your penis just stressed

34:37

out or your balls just stretched out like

34:40

My question was like did they make Balloon

34:43

animals for a living Oh

34:46

I have an idea I

34:48

know something long that i can bend I

34:52

just yeah i just have a lot of questions

34:54

and i think there's i just yeah no

34:58

And the question is like have they stretched it out

35:00

Is that way And They stretch

35:03

things I do like squirrels i

35:05

don't know it was a lot of weird stuff so i

35:07

bet you they're on a nude beach somewhere but i

35:09

will not be on that beach with any of these people

35:11

being nude. No I just

35:13

can't do it i don't know Maybe you

35:16

know to each his own and if you're comfortable

35:18

in your body i say go for it

35:20

and Flaunt it

35:22

and Love it I do

35:24

your thing Yeah you do you well that

35:26

leads to what the question of the week is going to be which is

35:29

have you ever gone to a nude beach and you can even

35:31

throw in there would you ever go if you have given the

35:33

opportunity so i'm going to throw up that question

35:36

I would love to hear Monica, if you haven't

35:38

been to one that's cool like let us know but let us

35:40

know if you would actually ever go to one. i should

35:42

give him the opportunity i think that's going to be interesting

35:45

and this week's question of the week is sponsored

35:47

36:36
