Today I’m speaking with Laurie and Adam, both employees of PACE Southeast Michigan in Detroit Michigan. Adam and Laurie work in the Public Affairs and Philanthropy department at their PACE organization. In our conversation, Laurie and Adam share how they lead communication efforts with participants, caregivers, the local community, and media. They also touch upon their efforts in government affairs, including advocating for PACE programs with legislators.
Laurie and Adam oversee event planning and fundraising with PACE, and we get to talking about their recent Fundraising Breakfast, which they appropriately named, a Friend-raising breakfast. They share some practical tips for other PACE programs to use in developing their own fundraising efforts.
