Abhishek Mukund is joined by University of Texas Professor Stephen Slick. Professor Slick worked in the CIA's Clandestine service for 28 years, as well as serving as special assistant to the president and the senior director for intelligence programs and reform on the staff of the National Security Council. Professor Slick discusses intelligence collection by the US Intelligence community over a span of three decades. This time period includes the fall of the Soviet Union, and the rise of terrorist groups like Al Qaeda.
