Hi, this is Chris Legaspi. I'm a professional artist, author and instructor. And today we're going to talk about digital art tutorials for digital painting. Now, what is a digital art tutorial? Well, digital art means, uh, making art, using some kind of electronic interface. And you know, one of the most popular interfaces right now is something like Photoshop and so as other ways to make digital art using electronic medium.
Now, when you're looking for digital art tutorials, looking for information, or you want to learn or improve your digital art, what I would recommend is, and what I look for when I look for knowledge, information is to focus on the art part of digital art, focus on the art. And what I mean by that is art is built up of, of, um, types of building blocks of fundamentals, for example, drawing design, uh, value, or some of the, some of the fundamental building blocks that you could learn to make better art.
You know, digital is just a medium. So instead of focusing on the digital side, look forward to tutorials or information or knowledge that helps you improve on the art side. So. Um, you know, like, like I mentioned earlier, art drawing design, and later, as you get more experienced, you can do more complex ideas.
Like, um, maybe shading or sketching more complex composition. You can go to different subjects like landscape and then eventually you can do things like color as well when you're ready to do color and painting. So that's something that I would look for when I want to improve my, um, digital art or from looking for digital art tutorials is to focus on the arts on improving myself as an artist first and then being able to apply it to a medium book will come easy.
Okay. That's it for this episode. And until next time, get out there, keep drawing, keep painting, and build up that mileage. Bye for now.
