0:44
Welcome back to the Paradigm
0:46
you podcast . This is episode
0:49
157 .
0:51
Lisa can you believe it ? Amazing , I really
0:53
can't . No , I'm small .
0:55
So quickly and we are continuing
0:57
the topic of subconscious reprogramming
1:00
and how you can harness the power
1:03
within by tapping
1:05
into this amazing tool . So
1:07
we're going to be talking about this all of
1:09
the month of November , but today
1:11
in particular , we want to make sure that we are
1:13
kind of doing an intro to subconscious
1:16
reprogramming , because last week we started with
1:18
talking about the resistance that's coming up . Lisa
1:20
, and I don't know if I told you , but we've
1:22
gotten so many messages asking for
1:25
more details on how to do this when
1:27
you would do this , where to go to get this , and
1:30
I said you know what ? We just got to do an intro and
1:32
actually cover a lot of the starter topics
1:34
before we can go any farther .
1:36
Absolutely Having a foundational understanding of
1:39
how this all works is really key to implementing
1:41
it .
1:42
It is . It is because it's an amazing
1:44
tool , but if you don't know how to apply
1:46
it or when to use it , or all
1:49
the intricacies , it may not be helpful
1:51
. So , lisa , where's
1:53
a good place to start in your mind ?
1:57
You know what a great question . I
1:59
think for me , especially
2:01
coaching the last whatever 20
2:04
years that the
2:06
first thing to really understand is that
2:08
you cannot think your way to
2:10
higher performance . That
2:12
really stood out to me when I started the subconscious
2:15
reprogramming journey , because so much
2:17
in the coaching field especially , or
2:19
in the personal development space , we
2:21
read something and we think if we
2:23
just think that then we can
2:25
have that . And if that
2:28
was true , napoleon Hill's book Thinking
2:30
Grow Rich , everyone who read it would be
2:32
rich , and we know that that's not the case , and
2:35
so I think it's important for everyone to really
2:37
understand that if you could just think
2:39
your way to a higher performance
2:41
or to get anything you want , you
2:44
would already have that . So
2:46
now that we know that you can't just
2:48
think your way to it , that you have to be
2:51
something different , I
2:53
think that allows us a bit of a framework to
2:55
walk into understanding context
2:58
and what's really happening around us
3:00
.
3:01
Yeah , you know , lisa , inside of our Elevate
3:04
Group you actually did a really great training
3:06
that you explained . What are the top three
3:08
ways of subconscious reprogramming ? Do
3:10
you remember what those are ?
3:12
Yeah , well , one of them is you cannot think your way to
3:14
higher performance . The other is brain biology
3:17
is really habits . So
3:19
when we talk about habits and we
3:21
will be talking about that here more
3:24
inside the podcast , but a
3:26
lot of times we can personalize that and really that's
3:28
just brain based science and we
3:31
actually perform those
3:34
things every day on autopilot
3:36
because that's how we've just conditioned ourselves to
3:38
behave . And the other one really
3:40
is that you have to be the person
3:43
first , yeah , and when we
3:45
talk about B .
3:46
I think it's important to kind
3:48
of tap into that a little bit . Who do you have to be ? We've
3:51
recorded episodes on this before . But consider
3:54
it also from the lens of , if you look
3:56
at it , the letters B , e . It's
3:59
also behavior , yeah
4:01
, and what behaviors do you need to enable
4:04
or , you know , portray , and
4:06
then , what are your beliefs ? I
4:09
think those things you have to keep those in mind
4:11
, because when you want to change
4:13
these things , those are the things that you have
4:15
to rewrite to enable the change that
4:17
you wish to see .
4:19
Absolutely . What a beautiful way to say it . And
4:22
those are two powerful words in the world
4:24
of subconscious reprogramming , because first you
4:26
have to be the behavior . So consistency
4:29
, repetition this is going to be key
4:31
for anyone who wants to actually
4:34
accelerate their growth and change using
4:37
subconscious reprogramming .
4:39
Yeah , you know , one of the really fun
4:41
things that I think is important to
4:43
understand is that most
4:46
of us , for most people , our
4:48
subconscious programming
4:50
is really developed in our youth . In
4:53
fact , most researchers say that
4:55
it's developed by the age of eight Is
4:57
that wild .
4:58
That's so wild it is . And hearing
5:00
that thinking oh man , that explains
5:02
my eldest a lot . What
5:06
was I subconsciously programming
5:08
into this subconscious ? And it's definitely
5:10
changed how I parent my second
5:12
, yeah .
5:14
Yeah , Because if you think about it , if we're programming
5:16
our little ones that we're around
5:19
before the age of eight
5:21
, they're really creating their entire
5:23
subconscious programs and
5:25
memories and understanding of the world . It's
5:28
so important for us to think about
5:30
the words that we use , how we
5:32
engage with these children and
5:35
also , equally , for us as adults
5:37
and I'd say most of the people who gravitate
5:40
to this podcast are people who want to grow
5:42
and expand and , you
5:44
know , get into the nitty gritty
5:46
of personal development . It's important to understand
5:48
that your subconscious programming
5:51
was developed from your youth
5:53
.
5:54
Yeah , it's such a powerful
5:56
awareness for you
5:58
right now , in this moment , to really breathe that in
6:00
, because now you get to look at and say , okay
6:03
, what was possibly programmed
6:05
into me by the environment
6:07
that I grew up with , by the people that I was around
6:10
, by the school that I was in , whatever
6:12
it may be , the religious place
6:15
that you went every week , whatever
6:17
it is , we were all . We
6:20
were all indoctrinated , and
6:22
that's not a bad word . I know it gets a lot of
6:24
political hype . That's not my intention here . It's
6:26
simply an indication that we
6:28
were imprinted with things in
6:31
our youth and now , as an adult
6:33
, we find times where
6:35
, oh man , we're button up against
6:38
some glass ceilings or maybe getting triggered
6:40
on things , and a lot of that has
6:42
to do simply with who we
6:44
were formed in our youth , that we
6:46
didn't have a role in other
6:48
than simply being there . Yep
6:50
.
6:51
Yeah . So if you are listening to this and you're
6:53
thinking , huh , there's an
6:55
area of my life that I would like to change
6:57
, I think it's really
6:59
important to recognize that , that area
7:02
of life that you're wanting to change now
7:04
. The imprints that you had
7:06
when you were a child are probably the ones
7:08
the beliefs , the behaviors , the
7:11
understandings of the world . All
7:13
of those are nested from your childhood
7:16
and imprinted on your subconscious beliefs
7:18
. You know , aristotle actually says
7:20
give me a child until the
7:22
age of seven or eight and I'll show
7:24
you the person that they will become . And you
7:27
know , when you start thinking about that , it's like , oh
7:29
, I start looking at my own childhood and I'm like , oh
7:31
, yep , yep , I see it , I see
7:33
it .
7:35
Yes , same here . I look around going
7:38
yep , that tracks , that tracks , that tracks
7:40
, yep . And equally , when
7:43
you start reprogramming you go oh
7:45
, now I know why I really am the anomaly
7:47
in the family , or why I
7:49
am
7:51
starting to recognize how
7:54
I'm different . You know , and that's okay
7:56
too , yeah .
7:57
So if you are somebody who's digging
8:00
this and you're like , okay , now I understand
8:02
it . Now I understand how my subconscious
8:05
was formed with those beliefs and
8:07
those imprints , what do I do ? What's
8:10
the next ?
8:11
step . Well , you tell us
8:13
because you know you are
8:15
certified in all of this , so
8:17
you really understand the ins and outs here , april
8:19
, and I believe there are four
8:21
different ways that you would encourage people
8:23
to start looking at from a place to actually
8:25
start some subconscious
8:28
reprogramming right .
8:29
Yes , and I would love to tell you that , but
8:32
I do think that there's an important piece that we have
8:34
to just call out it's kind of like the
8:36
elephant that's in the
8:38
podcast room and
8:40
that is that there's a lot
8:42
of people who have a fear around
8:45
this idea .
8:47
Oh so true , yes , like
8:50
they're going to click like a chicken or something
8:52
.
8:52
Yes , so here's the thing I
8:54
very clearly remember I
8:56
was so excited when I first learned about
8:58
these concepts and I was actually
9:00
in the process of becoming a certified hypnotherapist
9:03
and it was so interesting . Lisa , I
9:05
was telling somebody all about this
9:07
and they got so defensive and
9:09
they literally put and this is somebody who I
9:11
have a great relationship with they literally
9:13
put up their hand like to my face , and they're
9:16
like stop talking . And I
9:18
said , well , why isn't this so incredible
9:20
? And I found out that they had so
9:22
many stories and beliefs that
9:24
were tied to what they thought
9:26
I was going to tell them and
9:29
I was going to get them to do something scary
9:31
or embarrassing or concerning . And they're
9:33
like I don't even you're , you're talking
9:35
like snake tongue or something . I
9:37
don't even know what any of the voodoo
9:39
, you , harry Potter . Yeah , right , that's
9:42
what I was like what is that called
9:44
? Oh man , don't give me to that
9:46
. My kids are loving Harry Potter
9:48
. But anyways , a lot of people have
9:50
concerns that they may do something
9:52
embarrassing or concerning while
9:55
they're in or working on
9:57
subconscious reprogramming . So I am here
9:59
to tell you that your conscious mind
10:01
and your subconscious mind must
10:04
always be in harmony . That's like
10:06
a guiding rule , and
10:08
because of that , that means that you won't do anything
10:11
while reprogramming your subconscious . That goes
10:13
against your core beliefs . So
10:16
, for example , if
10:18
you wouldn't rob a bank in
10:21
your conscious state of being , then
10:23
you won't rob a bank while
10:26
you're reprogramming your subconscious . Yeah
10:29
, it's really important to call that
10:31
out , and I think some of the subconscious
10:33
reprogramming gets a stigma or a story
10:35
attached to it because of people
10:37
who are stage hypnotists or
10:40
people who are doing performance . That is
10:42
a complete . That's not what we're talking about here
10:44
. They're sure there's a little bit of
10:46
correlation and I can explain to you what
10:48
they're doing in detail , but
10:50
I want to tell you that what we're talking about today
10:52
has nothing to do with making you
10:54
cluck like a chicken or rob a bank . Got
10:57
it .
10:59
Also , the medical community really does endorse
11:01
this , and so so
11:04
I think it's also something for you to just
11:06
know that this isn't Tom Fulverie
11:08
or Quackery at all . It's actually
11:11
a very legitimate , legitimate
11:13
practice and Healing
11:15
modality things to consider in order
11:17
to accelerate your growth wherever that is .
11:20
Yeah , in fact , actually I don't know if you
11:22
know this um least , but the Stanford
11:24
Medical team actually
11:26
has endorsed hypnosis , and
11:29
here's a quote like right out
11:31
of the words it says by . This is
11:33
by David Spiegel . It says hypnosis
11:35
may seem like magic . And when I say hypnosis
11:38
, that's just one form of subconscious
11:40
reprogramming . But they say hypnosis
11:42
may seem like magic , yet evidence
11:45
proves it is significantly
11:47
therapeutic and scientifically
11:49
proven and we know it works . We
11:51
don't know exactly how , but
11:54
the science is beginning to figure it out
11:56
and if it was a pill , we would all be
11:59
prescribing it .
12:01
Such a great quote really , really powerful
12:03
stuff .
12:04
Yeah . So now that we've talked
12:06
about making sure that you're not clucking
12:08
like a chicken and
12:10
we've explained to you that your subconscious
12:13
truly is imprinted by
12:15
the age of seven or eight , we
12:17
want to actually talk to you a little bit about
12:19
what are some of the ways and forms
12:22
that you can actually do this , and lisi said
12:24
that there was four , and you're correct , there's a
12:26
lot of them . But I'd say you know
12:28
what we do within our coaching
12:30
programs is we really
12:32
subscribe to four . Two of them
12:34
are the two that we see consistently
12:36
working on a regular basis , the best
12:38
, but I would say all four of these
12:40
can accelerate Any
12:43
kind of changes that you're wanting to see in your life
12:45
, and the first one being affirmations . Do
12:47
you want to talk a little bit about that , because you were actually
12:49
just teaching about this a couple weeks ago .
12:52
Yeah , and I wouldn't say it's affirmations in the
12:54
sense of , you know , just telling yourself I'm awesome
12:56
or I'm fitting , healthy and Rich
12:59
. It's really about a multi sensory
13:01
experience when you're working with the subconscious mind
13:03
, and so the first level of
13:06
kind of self affirmations really does
13:08
involve an intentional scripting
13:10
of what it is you want
13:12
and then repeating that . So
13:15
there are definitely tools and resources available
13:17
and we we share those inside elevate . But for
13:19
now , what you could do is just get a lot
13:21
of clarity On exactly
13:24
what you want in your life Not
13:26
what you don't want , okay , but
13:28
what you do want and
13:31
repeat those as frequently
13:33
as you can during the day .
13:36
Yeah , that's a big one . You know , the
13:38
the consistency piece is key . The
13:40
other one that we see the most
13:43
value in is doing
13:45
exercises tied
13:47
to visualizations . When you're
13:49
seeing it , you're feeling it , you're having
13:51
a whole lot of those details and it's
13:53
radiating through your body . It's actually
13:56
changing the chemistry makeup
13:58
of your body , the energetic frequency
14:01
that your body is vibrating at , and
14:03
what's really exciting about that is that your
14:05
subconscious starts to feel that it
14:07
sees it . It doesn't know the
14:09
difference between truth or fiction , and
14:12
so the cool part is is you can start
14:14
changing and imprinting those higher
14:16
elevated feelings On
14:19
to your subconscious , and then your subconscious says
14:21
oh well , when I think or do x
14:23
, it makes me feel really good
14:25
.
14:26
Yeah , it's pretty .
14:27
Yeah .
14:28
I love it so much . Our brain is such a powerful
14:30
tool on the journey for sure
14:32
, and if you're looking to create
14:34
a new habit or stop an old one , this
14:36
is . This is gold right here , and
14:39
yeah , it happened quicker .
14:40
Those are our top two that we consistently
14:42
see working and accelerating change the
14:44
fastest . The other two that I
14:47
think are important to note is the
14:49
first one being hypnosis and instant
14:51
self hypnosis . In fact
14:53
, Lisa , I don't know if you know this , but I actually
14:55
used self hypnosis to birth
14:58
one of my children . I did know
15:00
that .
15:01
So cool .
15:04
You know it's . I can go on
15:06
on about the the
15:08
scientific approaches to
15:10
medical healing
15:12
that you can use , but I think that
15:15
has to be in another podcast .
15:16
Yeah , for sure .
15:18
But then the other one , along with hypnosis
15:20
and self hypnosis , would be meditation
15:23
and breathwork , and that one's probably
15:25
one of the easiest and I would say that's almost like
15:27
a gateway drug If you , if you ask me
15:29
it's , you know , tape . Taking
15:31
those deep breaths allow your
15:33
brain waves to lower to a different
15:35
frequency , which allows you
15:37
to really start recalibrating your
15:39
subconscious for the intended changes
15:41
that you want . And we'll talk about the brain
15:44
and how it works a little bit more in one of our next
15:46
episodes . But I think that's important to talk
15:48
about those four top ways to reprogram
15:50
.
15:51
Yeah , absolutely . And at this
15:53
point you might be asking well , how can I
15:55
, how can I start actually using this ? And
15:58
what we would encourage you to think about
16:00
is , again , first get clear on what it is you
16:02
want and then you have to start building
16:04
the habit , because really the key with any
16:06
of whatever you pick , one of those four
16:08
ways that April just shared
16:11
, is really to understand it's all
16:13
about building a healthy habit to actually
16:15
repeat , repeat , repeat , because
16:17
consistency is how you're going to actually
16:20
reprogram your brain at this phase
16:22
.
16:23
Yeah , so we aren't advocating
16:26
for you to go out and try all of them at once
16:28
. Everybody works a little bit differently . This
16:31
episode is truly just scratch
16:33
the surface . Get you a little curious
16:35
, especially if you haven't been exposed to this , because most
16:37
people haven't been exposed to these concepts
16:39
or these ideas at all . So
16:42
I think it's important that we don't overwhelm
16:44
anyone . You know , I know , when I first
16:46
started getting into this it was like turning on a
16:48
fire hose , like holy
16:50
cow . How did I live
16:52
this many years of my life and not know
16:54
that this is all available to me ? And
16:57
this is how I operate . If
16:59
I look around my environment , it truly is
17:01
a reflection of what my subconscious
17:03
reprogramming is . Yeah
17:06
, absolutely .
17:07
Well , and I would also . I would also share
17:09
that if you're on the journey and you're
17:11
sitting there going , I know exactly what I need to do
17:13
, but I'm just not doing it . Or I know exactly
17:15
what I want , but I'm not going after it , I'm
17:18
stuck . I don't know why . It's
17:20
because of this , and this
17:22
is what can help you out of it . Right , it's because
17:24
your subconscious has an old , limiting belief
17:26
that you might not even know is
17:28
there , because it happened in your youth
17:31
or some part on your journey . And
17:33
so you have this opportunity now to say wait
17:35
a second , I'm going to choose to get out of this
17:37
stuck . I'm going to choose to actually do what I know I need to do , and the way
17:39
I'm going to support myself in getting those new results and new outcomes is to
17:41
use subconscious reprogramming . So if you're wondering , is this even for me ? I don't need faster
17:44
, bigger , better results . We would challenge you and say , well , I'm going to do this . Why
17:46
don't you go ahead and look around you and
17:48
say , well , is this everything I want ? Is there anything
17:51
new or different that I'm looking for in my life ? Because we guarantee
17:53
you , if this is something that you're wanting
17:55
, if you want something different . This is the way to get there , yep
17:57
, and we're going to share more in the next couple
18:00
of episodes this week . So
18:03
stick with us , because we can't wait
18:05
to tell you even more about reprogramming
18:08
your subconscious to harness the power within . So good , so good . All
18:10
right , on that note , we'll see you next week for
18:12
another great episode .
18:13
Like I said , we are going to be back with a new episode
18:15
, thank
18:27
you , because
18:35
there are so many facets that are included
18:37
and you are going to see some incredible
18:40
changes in accelerating and rewriting
18:42
your stories and rewiring your brain . So
18:44
, on that note , it is closing time . Cheers
18:47
to Good Karma .

20:36

20:39
is in between your two eyes
20:41
? And it says I

20:52
I say to the other that
20:54
you had to say
20:56
a kind of person or
20:59
a kind of animal .
21:03
Okay , let's try something completely
21:05
different . You ready what's
21:09
inside of your body that
21:11
works when you're sleeping Workers
21:14
, and what do the workers do ?
21:19
Fix your body .
21:21
And what do they do to fix your body ?
21:26
Heal them , heal my
21:28
body .
21:29
They heal your body . Heal
21:31
my body , good one . So
21:34
the little workers heal your body . Very
21:37
