HVPI was founded in 2006. They are strictly a non-profit group and NEVER charge for any investigation they perform. Their main goal is the safety of their clients and their families. They research and document all types of paranormal phenomena with the intention of assisting their clients by locating and identifying the type of activity they may be experiencing, helping them to understand what is happening, and easing any fear or anxiety that the clients may be experiencing as well as helping to resolve the situation. They look for a logical explanation in everything before they decide that it is "paranormal activity". They enjoy educating the public about ghosts, hauntings, paranormal investigating techniques, and the equipment they use.
