This week's author spotlight is on, Vallean Jackson.  Jackson was born & raised in Birmingham, AL. She is a graduate of Jacksonville State University with a BA in communications & a minor in biology. She is also a  journalist that has written for various publications & loves being a journalist just as much as she loves writing books. Her genres of books range from anthologies, romance, urban fiction, some horror, and recently children's books.

Jackson is also a mother and was inspired by her daughter to bring her long-time dream of a children's book to life.

In this episode, we honed in on learning colors, adventure, and exploration.
