Welcome to Season 9, Episode 39, of the ParentingAces Podcast. This week Lisa speaks with Tennis Parent Polly Schulte about her daughter's developmental pathway so far.To watch the video version of this week's podcast:https://youtu.be/tDOqCN8ulQEMargaret Schulte just turned 12. She lives and trains in Louisville, Kentucky, with her parents and her older sister. When Margaret began to get frustrated with her lack of tournament results and improvement, her mom became concerned that she would lose interest in tennis altogether. Polly decided it was time to make some changes in Margaret's coaching situation and turned to the ParentingAces Podcast for some guidance.Polly took special interest in the episodes featuring coach Todd Widom. Some of the things Todd spoke about really hit home for Margaret, so she decided to reach out to him about bringing Margaret to Florida for an assessment and some coaching. In this episode, you'll hear Polly talk about Margaret's experience and how she's using her limited time with Todd and his partner, Pierre Arnold, to maximize her development. It hasn't been all butterflies and rainbows, but Polly feels very strongly that she has found the right coaches to help her daughter reach her Tennis Goals. For more information on Todd Widom, click here to visit his website.
