Jesus says, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God” (Matthew 5:9). But what does it mean to be a peacemaker? Sometimes we get so focused on large scale problems in pursuit of world peace that we become blind to the small conflicts that erode important relationships in our everyday lives. While big issues are important, our greatest contribution to the mission of Jesus may be in the small peacemaking efforts throughout the normal course of our daily lives.
