Today's podcast is Episode 3. Today we are going to be discussing the parable of the prodigal son, which can be found in the Gospel of Luke chapter 15, verses 11-32. This parable is one of the most well-known stories in the Bible and has a powerful message for all of us. It is also one of my personal favorites. The story begins with a man who had two sons. The younger son asks his father for his share of the inheritance, which the father gives him. The younger son then goes off to a distant land and squanders all his wealth on wild living. When a severe famine hits the land, the younger son becomes destitute and realizes his mistake. He decides to return to his father and beg for forgiveness, even if it means becoming one of his father's hired servants. When the father sees his younger son in the distance, he runs to him, embraces him, and welcomes him home.
