An example of a Wheel of Life
Now that we all know how to recognize our sabotage patterns we must make certain that we don’t form new ones. As we move toward achieving our goals it’s important to nurture every aspect of our lives. Some sabotage patterns can be formed by completely unassociated things.
As I discuss in this episode, I was beginning to feel imbalanced in my life as I spent more time on this podcast. I was feeling excited about the work I’ve been doing, but could also feel the less nurtured areas of my life calling for more attention. If I weren’t careful and aware of my emotions I could easily begin to associate hard work and accomplishment with feelings of disconnectedness and loneliness as a result of spending so much time working.
Completing a Wheel of Life periodically will help shed light on the areas of your life that might need more attention. By doing this our experiences of success will be much more enriching and fulfilling.
