Born and raised in Siracusa, Sicily, Angela Zagarella has been calling Oregon home since 1988. She has been teaching Italian for 26 years which has lessened the longing and separation from her beloved island. Not a technological wizard, she only recently discovered she knew more about computers than she thought. She is an avid tea connoisseur; makes her own ricotta cheese, and is fluent in Spanish, Italian and English. She also speaks German. She loves to binge on international movies at the International Film Festival and engage in challenging conversations afterwards. https://www.pdx.edu/profile/meet-instructor-angela-zagarella-italian
