Okay, yes, we'll admit we are VERY late to watching the Walter Mercado documentary. We'll also admit we used this topic of representation to just push our agenda (urging people to watch the shows/movies we like). AND what about it??

This week, we talk about the representation of Latinx people in media and whether white people can accurately write/direct/produce characters with identities they don't own. We also talk about the greatest movie of all time: Dora the Explorer. We get into what it means to want to see your stories on screen and how the only way that can happen is when they hire Latinx folks!! and we deliver all of this in a very funny way. because obviously, we're hilarious. ALSO, support Latina creators!!  

(Diana would also like to say that referring to Gina Rodriguez's mess-ups refers to her anti-black statements/slur usage and probably shoulda been clear bout that).
