This week is Thanksgiving, so we started thinking about how we celebrate the holiday. This is another food podcast basically, I hope that's something you like and would like to listen to and tell us if y'all make these dishes too. We make different "salads" which include ingredients like lechera, marshmallows, coconut shavings. We talk about how thanksgiving was just a new for our families. Amy remembers her first thanksgiving that was also our mother's first thanksgiving. As a latinx household, we also reflect about how we don't actually celebrate the holiday, it's just food, family, and vibes. So from our familia to yours (regardless of if/how you celebrate), we wanna wish ya a safe week and great vibes.
