Let's pretend for a second you're on a weight loss journey right now.
In this pretend scenario (which may be real for you), you're trying to lose weight and it's been an ongoing problem for many years.
You've tried diet after diet, pills, workout programs, you name it...no progress, or very little.
One day you're talking to a friend or someone in your family about your weight, and they start telling you things like:
"You're perfect the way you are."
"You're beautiful, don't worry about your weight."
"Stop, you're crazy, you have no need to change a thing about yourself."
It's easy to hear those things and follow their advice and NOT make any changes.
It's easy to give in and say "screw it, I am perfect the way I am."
But for a lot of us...we hear these words and deep down we know that we still want to change.
And it's not about being "skinny" or fitting into some mold of what's acceptable versus unacceptable...it's about getting into a body that we love that makes us feel amazing while providing us a baseline of health that will serve us for the rest of our lives.
Take a listen as Gordon and Shanna dive deep into the topic of body positivity and what it really means.
