Christmas Eve: Lessons and Carols with Joshua Liem

At the end of World War I, the Festival of Nine Lessons and Carols was held for the first time at King’s College in Cambridge to see “the development of the loving purposes of God… through the windows and words of the Bible.” Students who had seen the horrors of trench warfare and family members who lost loved ones joined together to meditate on the grander biblical story of Jesus, hoping to understand how God’s love was working through all the darkness.This Christmas Eve, join us as we continue this tradition of reflecting on the biblical story in wartorn times through Scripture and song.
