Joining for an episode of Pitch Cast is Sarah Beattie, who recently joined 6 Nations as their first ever Chief Marketing Officer. Sarah is in discussion with Oliver Slipper, Pitch International Chairman.
Having studied Corporate Communications at University, Sarah’s career started as a content producer at Tiscali, one of the early UK broadband businesses.
Following three years in the content space, Sarah spent the next period of her career in PR and Comms at Ford. It was here that Sarah started to get into the business of sport through Ford’s WRC team and its Champions League sponsorship. From Ford, Sarah joined the UK mobile network Three, where she had various senior marketing and communications roles focused on social media, PR and branding.
Sarah then joined DAZN prior to its launch, first as Director of Global PR, Comms and Social and later as VP of Marketing, with specific responsibility for all new territorial launches. After a whirlwind 5 years at DAZN, which was spent juggling motherhood with 100s of global flights and managing partnerships with superstar athletes including Ronaldo, Neymar, AJ and Mourinho, Sarah joined 6 Nations in October 2020.
