He is a graduate of the School of Natural Cookery's Foundation Course and earned a Certificate in Plant-Based Nutrition from the T. Colin Campbell Center for Nutrition Studies.  He has completed the Plant-Based Professional certificate course through the Rouxbe Cooking School, is a member of the Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine, and is the group leader of the Plantastic Columbus PlantPure Group. Chef Mark resides in Columbus, Ohio with his wife, Loretta, who is a yoga teacher and assists Mark at his cooking classes as "The Duchess of Fork". The two of them work together to spread a message of achieving health and happiness through food and lifestyle choices.
