Shortly before Thanksgiving it was announced that Holga cameras would no longer be manufactured. Holga Jen has an excellent write up with sources.

Additionally, Jen has a call for entries for everyone to submit your favorite photo from your Holga in 2015.

Dennis’s Book on Toy Cameras (German)

He also has a book in English that is a pretty good primer for those who want to get started with Film Photography.

Fortunately we have not seen any price gouging yet on the Holga, ignoring a humorous typo on lomography.

After the announcement we posted to twitter to get your story of the first Holga, and what brought you to this quircky little camera.

If you would like to share your story, post it in the comments below.
