We have a very special episode ready for everyone this week.

We had a few questions about the Lomo’Instant camera, a new Kickstarter project unveiled recently by Lomography. So after many emails we were able to get ahold of Christian Polt who is the head of Lomography USA who is one of the people who have already had the opportunity to play with this camera.

Christian has been with Lomography for many years, starting in the web department in Vienna, before making the big leap and moving to New York to head their efforts over here.

Amanda and Simon sat down with Christian to learn more about why Lomography chose this film and decided to make an instant camera after many years of creating camera accessories like the Diana Instant Back and most recently the Belair Instant Back.

Currently the Kickstarter is sitting at 821k, but they are well on their way to the million dollar mark, which will open up its new stretch goal of a Closeup Lens.
