An international musician and a famous Instagram influencer are joining creative forces to bring a 'Midsummer Night's Dream' to the Gold Coast... and like you've never seen before. Trent Owers as Demetrius and Alyson Joyce as Tatania are both serving up a twist on the Shakespeare classic we all know and love in Technicolour Theatre Company's newest production. These talented practitioners join us in the Play Haus to chat through their many incredible theatrical experiences. AND our special guest host, Juliette Ebert, is back!

Scene 29 unravels the lives of two people who live wildly multi-faceted lives. Trent and Alyson have very full plates and we learn about their journey to the stage and the lessons they have learnt along the way. Trent shares what is like to move from America to Australia and working as an online influencer; sharing the differences he has noticed. All-round power woman, Alyson, has fostered her music career in Papua New Guinea alongside her Australian theatrical experience and other projects as she constantly evolves and experiments. She chats through her journey of self-acceptance and confidence as a BIPOC woman in the arts and Trent further explores why theatre feels the need to label characters. This episode is packed full of big questions, big talent and big conversations that you don't want to miss!
