Pirouetting into the studio this week is the incredibly talented Alisdair Macindoe from Australiasian Dance Collective. We talk about his upcoming production 'Forgery', which transports us into the future with a performance generated entirely by a computer! And Alisdair is the man behind the computer and lets us know how it all works

With an interesting background in creative programming, 'Forgery' allows human genius and computer smarts to combine and create something brilliant. Scene 36 unravels how Alisdair created a program that gives computer-generated prompts to six talented dancers who then improvise their way through a new show every night. We chat about how the team has worked with the Australasian Dance Collective dancers to build their improvisation skills in the rehearsal room and to give them the confidence to step on stage without a clue about what they're doing. Alisdair, Chelsea and Brooke then take a deep dive into the moral dilemma of artificial intelligence in the creative field and what the future of tech and art could look like.
