Hello people, in this episode, I have talked about why formal education is not a waste of time. This episode was inspired by own post on Facebook which I posted back in 2012.
At that time, I had no goals, no orientation and no ambition. I was lost. But now that I'm on track achieving a pinch of my goals every single day, I understand how much I've missed back in my college days.
I don't understand why people are spreading so much hatered about formal education. This hurts even more when the hatered comes from an influencer who sell courses on specific niche online. This is not justified.
You wouldn't consult a doctor without a degree, you wouldn't consult a lawyer without a degree. If that formal education is important, why not this? Formal education is as important as your passion for that subject itself. Just the passion cannot help. You need to formally educate yourself about the theories of the subject you're interested in.
Without the theories, you're just a passionate guy. Our education system has cracks, well who doesn't have it? But that doesn't mean the system is pointless. India is producing some of the best & brightest minds in the world.
Making this worse, we treat foreign universities worthy, promote brain drain and then complain we don't have proper education system, which I think is pointless. If you have interest in a subject, you'd learn it from any where without being materialistic. We humans aren't formally educated of reproduction systems, but still we've managed to grow into a 7.7 billion population. Interest matters.
