Theme of the Show: Second Chance at Life

At 30 years old, life was excellent for Santanna Prince. She was healthy, her business was doing well and life was good. Santanna and her sister, co-own a company called Sugar’d in Langley. One day at work, Santanna felt a share pain in under her rib. So severe, she drove herself to the hospital. In pain, she waited 8 hours in the emergency before being seen by a Doctor. Blood tests were ordered. The diagnosis was her pancreas was inflamed caused, as the Doctor said, from drinking alcohol. Santanna does not drink. She was admitted and further tests were preformed. She was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor behind her rib cage. Now finished with her treatments, she is in remission. With enthusiasm Santanna expresses, ” I feel like I have been given a second chance at life”. ” I use to work to live—now I live to work”.
