Jesus took part of our sinfulness so that we can partake of His divine nature and be pleasing in the sight of God.
Jesus stood in our place and was made sin with our sinfulness and sick with our sicknesses in order that we might be made the righteousness of God and be healed.

In order to redeem man, it was necessary for Jesus to carry the sins of mankind so that those who believe in Jesus could be remade spiritually and given a new nature (2 Corinthians 5:17-21).
The Bible says we were crucified with Christ, died with Christ, buried with Christ, suffered with Christ, made alive with Christ, resurrected with Christ, seated with Christ, and now rule with and for Christ.
Jesus was made like we were, so that we could be made as He is now. He was made sin to make us righteous.
