On Thursday afternoon the Pac-12 CEOs met and voted unanimously to play a seven game conference-only season starting on November 6 with a championship game on December 18, finishing up just before the College Football Playoff committee releases its final rankings on December 20. In theory, a Pac-12 team could now make the College Football Playoffs, but with only 7 games it will likely be a longshot.
