As a photographer, I am always excited to work with a new face in the industry. Ericka is not just a new model, she is also poised to become a household name. After her diagnoses with a thyroid condition known as 'Hashimoto Thyroiditis', Ericka has managed to turn what some would consider a negative into a positive. This condition caused Ericka to gain 30 pounds in only a month's time. Instead of losing herself into depression,  Ericka decided to embrace her new curves and use them to her advantage. She then started to pursue her dream of being a plus size model and advocate for body acceptance. 

With killer curves, a sweet smile and positive attitude she is not a model that is easily forgotten. It was a pleasure photographing Ericka as well as sitting down with her to record this episode. It is just a matter of time before everyone knows who Ericka Bessette is.
