We should have complete control over how we respond to situations.

Be careful who is “correcting” you and bearing down in your life. Be very careful.

To enjoy our Christian life we need to follow God’s Word.

Insights of Enjoying the Christian Life

1.     Be willing to accept God’s correction.

2.     Be willing to acquire wisdom from God.

a.     Wisdom enriches our lives. Proverbs 3:15 (she refers to wisdom).

b.     Wisdom rules our lives. Proverbs 3:20.

c.     Wisdom gives us confidence in life. Proverbs 3:21-26.

3.     Enjoy your responsibility from God. Proverbs 3:27-30

4.     Live separately from those who choose to live ungodly. Proverbs 3:31-35

5.     Live humbly. Proverbs 3:34-35; 1 Peter 5:5

We can have peace knowing that God is looking out for our best interests.

Live in harmony with your neighbor (all of those around you). Proverbs 3:27

Romans 12:18, If it is possible, as much as it depends on you, live peaceably with all men.

God doesn’t need our help. We need His help.
