Two co-founders of a company that gets tens of millions a monthly page views are leaving their company to launch a new podcast, oh and the company they are leaving? Mental Floss.

Will Pearson and Mangesh Hattikudar (Man-Gesh Ha-Tea-Koo-Door) are reportedly leaving their online publication, Mental Floss, to start a new podcast over at HowStuffWorks.

HowStuffWorks, for this of you who may not know, is a website with awesome articles and podcasts talking about nearly every kind of topic you could think of from science to space to technology, the list goes on and on.

Some podcasts they have under this brand already are:

• Stuff You Should Know
• Stuff You Missed in History Class
• Stuff Mom Never Told You
• Stuff to Blow Your Mind
• Stuff They Don't Want You to Know

You get the picture. These podcasts are getting around 30 million downloads per month so they must be doing something right.

Now, the podcast Pearson and Hattikudur are making isn't known just yet, but they plan on releasing it in May. But in the Adweek article I mentioned eluded to it being a “knowledge podcast.” I'll have more updates on this once the show comes out, but if you aren't checking out the other podcasts they have out currently you are missing out.
