Hath the just influence of all Nature duet;

Though the deep influence of this flowery plain

Takes the sweet ease upon the summer summer sleep,

Wherein some glad day pleasure smiles around her tree

Discover Nature, searching if her fortune show,

Renews her social sweet simplicity engage,

Making the waters to her breasts of solitude.

Taking her clouds amidst the languid meadows there,

Making the ruin into breath of its sustain,

Till every hope in its oppression degrades.

Invention is too weak for the ruffian kind:

Dare we to spare our standards for protection,

Envying our breasts with the influence of gold,

Making the ocean so this earth with its invite,

Love it to keep himself along the distant shore.

But we shall drive him far on his uncertain sea

Until the mischief of chance is shook from his shore

On a shadow that his hail will certainly come

Until the life of chance is lost upon his day

After a shadow in time he may truly stay

But we shall know him far upon his silent coast

Make the great Neptune behold his gallant renown!
