Alia, April, Saren, and Ashton – at the Los Angeles airport in preparation for their flight to Australia in March of 2012.

This month, Saren and April’s oldest children both turned 13–which means that their motherhood experiences are stretching to a whole new level.

In preparation for this radio show–all about teenagers–they asked the Power of Moms Facebook community for advice and ideas.  The response was amazing.  (Click here to see the full thread on Facebook.)

In this podcast, April and Saren will talk about how you show love to teenagers (do you tuck them in bed at night?), how to give them the space they need (while still staying close to them), how to give them the additional responsibility they crave (without overwhelming them), and how to help them develop great friendships outside the home.

Once you’ve listened to the show, please share your comments below.  We’d love to learn more!
